I regret my vote for Cruz in the primary.

don't know what to think anymore. I had always placed my faith in my conservative roots & gave the gop the benefit of the doubt on most things. It has become quite obvious that I've been a puppet for some time now.

That sounds like a pretty honest assessment.

I have an understanding with me that I live in a plutocracy. Have for some time.
I vote for the plutocrat that I feel is going to hurt me and mine the LEAST.

I would vote for a republican in a heart beat IF I felt they fit my simple criteria. Unfortunately they haven't done very well since Bush the Elder. And he wasn't great.

But a plutocracy is what we have. Government Of the rich, By the rich, For the rich.
It's a pisser.

There is no question that what the GOP as a whole has become is worse than HRC. On one side you have the crazies like Trump and Cruz with Kasich joining them, you have Cruz and Kasich conniving to thwart the will of the voters, and the RNC is doing the same thing.

I will vote for Gary Johnson, because the GOP nationally should not be running anything except from the voters.

Everyone keeps calling Cruz "crazy", and yet never provide any evidence besides "hes a Christian nutter" and "grumble grumble, shutdown, fake filibuster, grumble grumble."

The belief that his ideas are the best rout for our country is crazy. If you don't get that, I can't help you.

Which ideas? again, more generalization.

I have no desire to try converting you, or concern for what you believe. It's obvious that your mind is made up, so I won't confuse you with facts. You will lose, and that is more obvious to more people every day.

So you think Trump is worse than Hillary?

Fuck them all
Finally a Republican getting it! Someone waking up from the brainwashing right in front of our eyes. This is great. I've never met a Republican to admit they were wrong. You the man gramps.

Ted Cruz must to trust win everthing in last election for Republican. 14 left.

Cubano second half will real buisness with China if he win all election 2016.

I said it at the beginning of this primary, I'm not leaping early to throw my support behind a candidate because every time I do I discover later they are a lying establishment hack. Good to see Gramps discovering how rigged this whole system is.

Cruz is a dirty oily little rat.
We can stipulate that there actually are some REPs in Washington who are the real deal. Honest decent people who actually believe they are in Washington to serve the people who sent them there.
Of those people not a single one has come forward to endorse Cruz.
Within Washington he is despised.
The bastard will never get the nomination and all the bullshit he is doing now in his campaign will forever destroy him in politics.
The RNC already has a serious plan in the works to run someone against him who will kick Cruz's ass out of politics for good.

The reason they hate him and won't support him is two fold: 1. He's an outsider who won't play ball, and 2. He does exactly what he promised his voters he would do. Can't have that shit going on in Washington.

Not surprised that you haven't read his voting record.

Both Trumpery and CrazyCruz are habitual liars but even if they were not, why would anyone vote for them?

Two reason to vote Republican: You're very wealthy or very stupid.
Check your wallet to see which one you are.

Shit up nut job. No one cares about your lies. You will vote for Hillary so you just sit down and shut up. You have nothing to say about liars.

And you support Hillary or Bernie, isn't that kind of the pot calling the kettle black?

As I said at the time it was a reluctant vote and this latest stunt by Cruz & Kasuck confirms my reluctance.

I am considering now voting for Trump in the general in the hope that it will sink the Republican party.

Make no mistake about it, I CAN'T STAND TRUMP.

But.....

The PEOPLE have voted for him so all the underhanded bullshit the gop is pulling trying to stop him imo is a violation of the trust we placed with them. I don't give a fuck if the shit they're pulling is "within the rules" it is a violation of honor & integrity.

I am getting to the point that if they take the choice of the people and replace it with one of their own I may in fact vote for HILLARY CLINTON just to make sure the gop burns in hell for four years.

Now I know some of you are gonna come in here & call me a liberal because your tiny heads can't comprehend why someone would put their vote up for grab based simply on INTEGRITY. Well I'm sorry that you're too shallow to understand how someone can take a stand on principles.

I hope at the very least a new, VIABLE party is formed out of this. One that listens to the people.

The gop is playing with fire & I hope they get 3rd degree burns for it.

A vote for Hillary is a vote to end the Bill of Rights.

Simple as that.

I'm sorry but the voters haven't finished speaking yet. And I fail to see how focusing your resources is at all underhanded.

If the people of Indiana don't want Cruz they won't vote for him. If Oregon and new Mexico don't want Kasich, they wont vote for him.

I mean seriously think what you guys are saying. Cruz and Kasich are underhanded by not dividing the GOP vote. Why the heck do we want to elect the guy that wants to divide and conquer?

They aren't even telling their supporters to vote for the other one. They just made a deal to focus their resources in different locations. No one can force the the voters to vote for them

Seriously this is ridiculous. When did the conservative movement becomes such whiny babies?

It's been shown many times that Perot hurt Clinton more than he did Bush. I know that doesn't seem logical on the face of it, but it's true.

Utter bullshit moron, I proved you were lying LAST time you spewed this idiocy, and that was only a month or so ago. You keep telling the same lies, even after you have been exposed.

Rushbo, who is a fine political pundit when not being the demagogue for the far right exceptionalism group, noted that if Trump gets 1237, then he will be the nominee. If he does not get it, then the rules permit a contested convention. No one is trying to steal anything was his point.

I couldn't agree more with your assessment and god as my witness if the script were flipped and Trump was playing a role in this I'd bail just the same.
I welcome everyone, no matter their party affiliation, to see the system for what it is and take a stand against it. More the merrier.

I guarantee... most of you Trumpettes would have LEAPED at the chance to take down Mitt Romney in 2012 or McCain in 2008, if they hadn't secured a majority of the delegates.

There is nothing wrong with the system. It is the same system that the GOP has used since 1856. The states have their own delegate process and they always have... this is not a new thing. Libertarian and Green party members don't even vote for a candidate, the party heads just convene and decide who will be the person to run in the general. This isn't an election, it's party nomination of a candidate to run in the election.

Who's fault is it that Trump is weaker than Romney or McCain?
At this point in the Primaries, when Romney and McCain, were running who were they running against for the nomination?

That's not the point. Neither one of them were uncontested candidates. By the convention, they had secured the needed majority of delegates. As weak as they were, they got a majority (not a plurality) of delegates. That's how the system works and if they hadn't gotten a majority, you can bet your bottom dollar that a brokered convention would have tried to upset them. Don't you remember the "Anyone but Mitt" movement? A whole bunch of us didn't want Mitt, didn't think Mitt could win... we just weren't the majority.

Finally a Republican getting it!

Man..... I'll tell you what.... IF ever comes a time where silly boob is praising me for "getting it" then I will have to check myself in for psychiatric evaluation... because something MUST be wrong!

You Trump fans.... are you not noticing the left-wing loons who are supporting your insanity?
