B. Why wouldn't the causes of a recession be a factor? I could explain them to a PROG, but why waste the time? Just for kicks here's one. The early 2000s recession was a decline in economic activity which mainly occurred in developed countries. Bush became POTUS January 2001.
C. If the POTUS is held accountable, HTF did you come to the conclusion congress isn't? Here are a few recent examples:
Recession beginning Dec. 2007, Democrats controlled House and equal numbers in the Senate.
Recession beginning July 1990, Democats controlled the House and Senate, and it wasn't close.
D. ILMAO @ POTUS' are cause for recessions. Sometimes they contribute toward the problem, such as Clinton, Bush, Obama and Carter.
