Iraqi WMD's Finally Found? In Syria?

That that I ever believe that racist cockroaches are really worthy of my attention, there WERE WMD found in Iraq.

Just a fact. Nothing to be afraid of, White Inferiorist.

If you weren't such a shithead, you would have been able to understand the meaning of "material."
Why don't you repeat your point, cockroach racist, because upon review of your posts, I don't see your use of "material".

In 2003, American forces entered Iraq on the pretense that Saddam Hussein was harboring Weapons of Mass Destruction. Since that invasion, George W. Bush has faced harsh criticism from many for starting a war that was “unjustified.” While it is true that American forces never found evidence of such WMD’s, it was never entirely proven that these weapons did not exist. There was never any concrete indication of where these weapons may be…until now.

Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria is currently in conflict with a group of Syrian rebels who call themselves the Free Syrian Army. The country is in full civil war, and the leader is beginning to panic. It is a common assumption that he will soon give the order to begin using chemicals weapons against the rebels and even civilians. The United States and Israel know that he has such weapons, but it is unclear where exactly these weapons came from.

However, the number two general in Saddam Hussein’s air force says that these chemical weapons are the WMD’s that we did not find in Iraq.

In 2006, Georges Sada, second in command of the Iraqi Air Force under Hussein before he defected, wrote a detailed narrative called “Saddam’s Secrets.” In this book, Sada details how the Iraqi Revolutionary Guard moved weapons of mass destruction into Syria in the weeks leading up to the US-led operation to eliminated Hussein’s weapons threat.

I know that the Hyper Partisan Atmosphere we live in, will mean I will be attacked for saying this, But I have always thought it was pretty obvious that Iraq either Destroyed, or Moved their Stock piles before we invaded. We gave them nearly a Years notice we were coming. We have Satellite Images of Convoys of Trucks going from Iraq to Syria in the weeks leading up to our Invasion. It's not a very big stretch to guess that some of Iraqs WMDS ended up there.

Like I said, in today's Hyper Partisan environment you are not allowed to say that, No you have to accept the Liberal official line that there were never any WMD in Iraq, and in fact the very Idea they were ever there was a complete Fabrication of the Bush Admin.

But even those Libs know deep down inside they are full of Shit, Iraq Clearly had and was developing WMD, and either Destroyed what they had left, or Moved it before we invaded.

though they will never admit it.

It's to much fun saying Bush Lied and People Died.

The only one telling the truth about WMDs was Saddam. (and the inspectors)

I guess you find it more enjoyable to make up stories for which there is not one shred of proof. And don't tell me the bush administration was not busting it's ass trying to find some or make some up.

"We urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S.Constitution and Laws, to take necessary actions, (including, if appropriate,
air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction
programs."

Letter to President Clinton, signed by Sens. Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and others Oct. 9, 1998

I don't recall Clinton taking that advice...............do you?

I realize you righties are really reaching right now, but if Saddam was willing to fight with conventional weapons, why would he have sent his WMDs off to Syria?

Because he knew that he was not going to use them against us. That would have been idiotic for him to do so.

Really? Explain that logic, please.

becasue we have worse weapons and George W was in the house. Now if a pussy democrat was in, he probably thought they wouldnt retaliate.

Don't let the fact of NO WMDs nor any active nuclear program crowd out your cheers for the prancer in Chief, GWB.
Ah, but there WERE WMD found in Iraq.

Again, just a fact.

Right! About 30 years before we invaded.
Nope. After.

By late 2003, even the Bush White House’s staunchest defenders were starting to give up on the idea that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

But WikiLeaks’ newly-released Iraq war documents reveal that for years afterward, U.S. troops continued to find chemical weapons labs, encounter insurgent specialists in toxins and uncover weapons of mass destruction.

....

n August 2004, for instance, American forces surreptitiously purchased what they believed to be containers of liquid sulfur mustard, a toxic “blister agent” used as a chemical weapon since World War I. The troops tested the liquid, and “reported two positive results for blister.” The chemical was then “triple-sealed and transported to a secure site” outside their base.

Three months later, in northern Iraq, U.S. scouts went to
look in on a “chemical weapons” complex. “One of the bunkers has been tampered with,” they write. “The integrity of the seal [around the complex] appears intact, but it seems someone is interesting in trying to get into the bunkers.”

Meanwhile, the second battle of Fallujah was raging in Anbar province. In the southeastern corner of the city, American forces came across a “house with a chemical lab … substances found are similar to ones (in lesser quantities located a previous chemical lab.” The following day, there’s a call in another part of the city for explosive experts to dispose of a “chemical cache.”

Nearly three years later, American troops were still finding WMD in the region. An armored Buffalo vehicle unearthed a cache of artillery shells “that was covered by sacks and leaves under an Iraqi Community Watch checkpoint. “The 155mm rounds are filled with an unknown liquid, and several of which are leaking a black tar-like substance.” Initial tests were inconclusive. But later, “the rounds tested positive for mustard.”

....

But even late in the war, WMDs were still being unearthed. In the summer of 2008, according to one WikiLeaked report, American troops found at least 10 rounds that tested positive for chemical agents. “These rounds were most likely left over from the [Saddam]-era regime. Based on location, these rounds may be an AQI [Al Qaeda in Iraq] cache. However, the rounds were all total disrepair and did not appear to have been moved for a long time.”

....

But the more salient issue may be how insurgents and Islamic extremists (possibly with the help of Iran) attempted to use these lethal and exotic arms. As Spencer noted earlier, a January 2006 war log claims that “neuroparalytic” chemical weapons were smuggled in from Iran.

That same month, then “chemical weapons specialists” were apprehended in Balad. These “foreigners” were there specifically “to support the chemical weapons operations.” The following month, an intelligence report refers to a “chemical weapons expert” that “provided assistance with the gas weapons.” What happened to that specialist, the WikiLeaked document doesn’t say.

And

WASHINGTON, June 29, 2006 – The 500 munitions discovered throughout Iraq since 2003 and discussed in a National Ground Intelligence Center report meet the criteria of weapons of mass destruction, the center's commander said here today.

"These are chemical weapons as defined under the Chemical Weapons Convention, and yes ... they do constitute weapons of mass destruction," Army Col. John Chu told the House Armed Services Committee.

The Chemical Weapons Convention is an arms control agreement which outlaws the production, stockpiling and use of chemical weapons. It was signed in 1993 and entered into force in 1997.

The munitions found contain sarin and mustard gases, Army Lt. Gen. Michael D. Maples, director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, said. Sarin attacks the neurological system and is potentially lethal.

Well this is why you dont give deadlines to invade or pull out of a country. People from 4000 years ago understood this, but liberals apparently dont.

Yep, there were major stockpiles of WMD all over Iraq.

Oh, no wait, that's not right...

I forgot that you people are seriously fucking insane.

Pure, unadulterated, whack-job.

The facts say otherwise, and as shown already, you really haven't much of a grasp of facts.

The professional fool is accusing someone else of not having much of a grasp of facts.

That's funny. Just because they found some old shells from the Iran war(fact) does not mean they found the WMD that the Bush Administration claimed Iraq was actively producing and stockpiling does it?

Some people won't even accept the fact that they were moved......because that would mean Bush was right!

Others cannot accept the fact that they did not exist because that proves that Bush was a lying sack of .....................

rather than using them ... whats your point?

and they were well documented by their use against the Curds a decade earlier with no response from the US.

they found nothing (new) they claimed existed as reason for their unprovoked and unfunded invasion of a sovereign nation.

My point is that they did not find them because they were moved to Syria. Is that so hard to grasp?

Something was in those truck caravans going from Iraq to Syria. It was speculated at the time that it was Iraq's chemical weapons.

It never ceases to amaze me how f-ing stupid people are. Hey, shithead, when you see a truck in your neighborhood, do you fear that it has WMDs? Something is in those trucks!

What they found did meet the specified criteria, however they did not meet the Bush administrations claims justifying the invasion and occupation.

That was a stupid comment....if you see CARAVANS of trucks all on the same road all going the same direction, you know damn well they were carrying something out of the country! I suppose they delivering flowers to their friends in Syria?? My son has been to Iraq 3 times, he's seen the evidence....he saw the terrorist training camps that Sadaam approved of. Were you there?
