If you go to the Election '24 folder and look up most any post of mine there from about a week ago concerning Trump or the GOP, I spent a couple days ripping all over Trump's campaign and the GOP's.

As I already said, long ago, much/most of the real Jamaicans died off due to disease and killing as Europeans came there looking for the "new world." They were largely replaced by slaves from Africa, so anyone arguing that Kammy isn't really black (or at least 50% so), is beating a dead horse.

Kamala Harris is absolutely legally entitled to run for office…I can’t believe this type of attack is being rehashed. she is a natural born citizen as defined by the Constitution, born in the US, and her parents immigrant status has no bearing on her eligibility.

Sure it does. From what I understand from sources who have had access to her parent's backgrounds better than me, neither of her parents were naturalized US citizens at the time Harris was born. Both were still citizens of Jamaica and India respectively. So yes, Harris was born in California as a citizen, just not a natural-born citizen, and the constitution makes that distinction because to be president, they intended for any candidate to not only be a citizen, but born to at least one US citizen parent as a further guarantor of their loyalties to this country as many scholars researching the matter have attested.

As to your not believing the matter brought up again, I can't believe that of the last three candidates (Obama, Biden, and Harris), TWO of them have questionable-enough backgrounds to need to be asked.

If you don't want it brought up, start finding people who CLEARLY MEET the standard required by the Constitution! How hard can that be NOT to find a person for office whose parents are NOT from Botswana or somewhere and grew up as normal Americans from normal American backgrounds with normal names??? Barrack had TWO NAMES (Barry Soetoro) and social security cards from two states and Harris' name is Hindi for a flower. Give me a break.

As she has referred to her lineage as Jamaican-American (plenty of white Jamaicans), Indian-American, and Asian -American long before Biden picked her from her total failure as a Presidential candidate. The suddenly, poof!, she's, black. Oh, and her mother is listed as Caucasian.

To take another example, MSNBC is very proud of its diverse lineup, meaning eight of its hosts are immigrants or the children of immigrants, but only four are descendants of American slaves — and they’re relegated to the weekend dead zone.​

I don’t mention this out of some quixotic dream that Republicans will someday flip a meaningful percentage of the black vote. That’s not going to happen — not now, not ever. (Sorry, clueless donors!) Unfortunately, I have a sinking feeling that that’s exactly why Trump mentioned Harris’ Indian-Jamaican heritage.​

The point Republicans ought to be making is to remind white Americans that the diversity agenda gives everybody an advantage except whites — especially white, heterosexual men with deep ties to our country.​

Republicans across the country just cringed at that last sentence. They’re embarrassed to get the votes of white people. Pro tip: Whites are the only swing voters in the country. Slight movements in the white vote determine the outcome of every presidential election.​

Totally by accident, Trump hinted at an argument that Republicans ought to be making all day long. To wit, the “diversity” regime — allowing the daughter of Indian and Jamaican immigrants to demand recompense owed only to the descendants of American slaves — is nothing but open, vicious discrimination against only one ethnic group.​

The Constitution never explicitly defined “natural born citizen” and the consensus among constitutional scholars, as well the relevant case law, has long held that “natural born” includes those citizens born in the US regardless of the parents citizenship.
