The conservative movement, and by extension the Republican Party, has been hijacked by mentally handicapped rubes, chickenhawks, psychopaths, liars, and hypocrites.
I have frequently said that it used to be a Conservative was the smartest person in the room, but nowadays someone who calls themselves a conservative is likely to be a drooling idiot avidly parroting the latest manufactured bullshit emitted by The Daily Caller, Fox News, Breitbart, the Washington Times, World News Daily, et al.
As an old school conservative, it angers me these retards are the ones being nurtured by the establishment party. The establishment has completely sacrificed its principles. There is no fiscal conservatism in the GOP. There is no stand against the expansion and abuses of government powers. There is no integrity in a party that does not smack down birthers and bigots, and instead coddles them for fear of losing their votes.
I imagine meetings where the powers that be discuss how they are going to dumb down their talking points far enough where their idiot demographic is able to retain the message the 60 seconds it takes to read and then copy and paste onto the internet.
It also angers me to see the bigotry and Nazi tendencies of the right beginning to be quite naked in their manifestations. This is why they work so hard to convince themselves of the ridiculous proposition that Nazis are left wingers. "How can we be Nazis if Nazis are left wingers?" It's a self-fulfilling tautology.
As for the Left, as an old school conservative I have always considered the Left to be the dregs of flotsam which remained after the Dixiecrats defected to the GOP 50 years ago. A bunch of "what has the government done for me lately" slackers, whiners, and co-dependents with a strong socialistic bent.
Perhaps the problems of the stupidity of the Left can be best illustrated with the concrete examples below.
Since the disillusionment with the invasion of Iraq, the left wing media has had many navel-gazing conferences and mutual masturbation sessions analyzing their eagerness to cheerlead the invasion. They roil and rue in great sobs they did not question the assertions of WMDs in Iraq vigorously enough and thought only about the advancement to their careers the words "war correspondent" on their resumes would bring.
"We're the watchdogs of government and we rolled right over for Bush. We sure won't let that happen again. We are going to be more aggressive in challenging the claims made by our government. Yesirreeebob!"
And then they ran out and cheered for Obama's massive new entitlement program which was not going to add a single dime to the debt.
The watchdog of government is a preening poodle.
We are on our own now.
Folks, we have arrived at a place that is no longer a Right vs. Left problem.
A right wing idiot assumes anyone who challenges the piss they are regurgitating is a "libtard". A left wing idiot assumes anyone who challenges the piss they are regurgitating is a "pubdupe".
Not so.
This is a Critical Thinker vs. Idiot situation we are in.
The idiots have been ruling the roost for far, far too long. They have been spoon fed all the bumper sticker philosophy their little minds can handle until their minds became just so much applesauce.
Critical thinking is alien technology to these subhuman mimics. When used against them they don't even know what hit them.
Their only tools are strawmen, logical fallacies, ad hominems, lies, hypocrisy, and brains with the memory retention of goldfish.
