It’s Time To Come Home...

….and live up to your name, Liberals. The Democrats have cheated on you, and smell of fire and brimstone.

1.Speaking of ‘smell,’ there are Liberals, and Socialists, whose political aroma is ‘offending’ normal folks.

When using the term ‘Liberal,’ I mean Socialist. I do so for two reasons, first, colloquially, they mean to describe the same individuals….today. They stand for and vote for the things, same politicians. Second, during the 20th century, Communist John Dewey convinced the Socialist Party to hide behind the name ‘Liberal,’ so we find those self-identifying as Democrats/Liberals who stand for what socialist stand for.

2. "...[John] Dewey arguably did more than any other reformer to repackage progressive social theory in a way that obscured just how radically its principles departed from those of the American founding. Like Ely and many of his fellow progressive academics, Dewey initially embraced the term “socialism” to describe his social theory. Only after realizing how damaging the name was to the socialist cause did he, like other progressives, begin to avoid it. In the early 1930s, accordingly, Dewey begged the Socialist party, of which he was a longtime member, to change its name. “The greatest handicap from which special measures favored by the Socialists suffer,” Dewey declared, “is that they are advanced by the Socialist party as Socialism. The prejudice against the name may be a regrettable prejudice but its influence is so powerful that it is much more reasonable to imagine all but the most dogmatic Socialists joining a new party than to imagine any considerable part of the American people going over to them.” Dewey’s influential 1935 tract, Liberalism and Social Action, should be read in the light of this." 5. “Control is the only guiding principle for the left these days. Some are wanting to rip apart the economy because it’s unfair or simply because they want to use varying crises to control others merely for the sake of controlling others. Their desire for control is the only common principle they have left, the only thing that binds them together.

Clearly…..it is well past the time for any Democrat voters who think of themselves as ‘Liberals’ to cross the aisle and come home, with the real liberals.

Learn what socialism is.

You want people controlled by corporations.

And another one bites the dust.

Recession, Recession, Recession failed.
They are now trying to cause one with the virus for this very reason....................They HAVE NO HONOR.

That's the Democrat Death Party......they're nihilists, just as their predecessors the Bolsheviks and Nazis were.....and they have no compunction about taking all of us down with them.

It's the reason they feel allied with the Islamists...Leading Muslim clerics often refer to the love of death. Chief Palestinian Authority cleric Mufti Sheikh Ikrimeh Sabri stated, "We tell them, in as much as you love life, the Muslim loves death and martyrdom.”

8. “The left values political power above everything else. The problem for them is that many are taking notice that their control obsession is antithetical to the cause of liberty. After all, these people still claim to be rooted in freedom, falsely implying with their exploitation of the term ‘liberal’.

“The champions of socialism call themselves progressives, but they recommend a system which is characterized by rigid observance of routine and by a resistance to every kind of improvement.
They call themselves liberals, but they are intent upon abolishing liberty.
They call themselves democrats, but they yearn for dictatorship.
They call themselves revolutionaries, but they want to make the government omnipotent.
They promise the blessings of the Garden of Eden, but they plan to transform the world into a gigantic post office. Every man but one a subordinate clerk in a bureau. What an alluring utopia! What a noble cause to fight!”
Ludwig von Mises”
True liberals are leaving the left. It’s time to welcome them to the side conserving liberty.

Leftism has only two methods: ban, or mandate.

There is no room for liberty in their firmament.

And that's why there is no place for true Liberals in the Democrat Party....just those who have come to accept the smell of fire and brimstone.

9.” True liberals are leaving the authoritarian left in droves exemplified by the case of Dr. Karlyn Borysenko who became an accidental political commentator who first became prominent in going to a rally for President Trump and writing about in medium.

She penned another article: This liberal went to CPAC. And it was nothing like I expected. As well as broadcasting a Live Stream: Why I became a Democrat and what ultimately made me walk away. While she still holds many views in disagreement with the pro-liberty right, she characterizes herself as a ‘classic liberal’ like many who have walked away from the authoritarian left.”

Here's a Democrat who attended a Trump rally.

“…I headed over an hour and a half before the doors were scheduled to open—which was four hours before Trump was set to take the stage—and the line already stretched a mile away from the entrance to the arena. As I waited, I chatted with the folks around me. And contrary to all the fears expressed, they were so nice. I was not harassed or intimidated, and I was never in fear of my safety even for a moment. These were average, everyday people. They were veterans, schoolteachers, and small business owners who had come from all over the place for the thrill of attending this rally. They were upbeat and excited. In chatting, I even let it slip that I was a Democrat. The reaction: “Good for you! Welcome!”

Once we got inside, the atmosphere was jubilant. It was more like attending a rock concert than a political rally. People were genuinely enjoying themselves. Some were even dancing to music being played over the loudspeakers. It was so different than any other political event I had ever attended. Even the energy around Barack Obama in 2008 didn’t feel like this.

…I was one of those Democrats who considered anyone who voted for Trump a racist. I thought they were horrible (yes, even deplorable) and worked very hard to eliminate their voices from my spaces by unfriending or blocking people who spoke about their support of him, however minor their comments. I watched a lot of MSNBC, was convinced that everything he had done was horrible, that he hated anyone who wasn’t a straight white man, and that he had no redeeming qualities.

But when I witnessed the amount of hate coming from the left in this small, niche knitting community, I started to question everything.

10. The brightest of the Liberals/Democrats soon won't be.
'Brightest' meaning, of course, that the recognize that fire and brimstone odor that we've all come to recognize as redolent of Hitler, Stalin, and Mao, is now oozing from the Democrat elites.....the leaders of the party now running on full-blown anti-white racism, socialism, infanticide, opposition to free speech, substituting illegal alien voters for the American citizenry, and anti-Semitism… the knuckle-dragging, atavistic pagan party.

“…we of the pro-liberty right have to articulate a set of principles based in conservation of liberty, individual rights and economic freedom. That is not to say give up on some of our core beliefs just for the sake of having a ‘big tent’ but one of having a clear set of beliefs that are in common with true liberals.

This is a case of being forthright in what we believe and letting the chips fall where they may. Perhaps many of these politically homeless will join our ranks. Still others may form their own group that is on the pro-liberty side of the political spectrum and we can have respectful debate on a few of the issues on which we disagree.”

The principles of conservatives and our Founders, are the principles of real Liberals….not the fake liberals, the re-tread Socialists and Democrats:

Individualism

Free markets

Limited constitutional government.

Come to the light, Liberals.

Great Heinlein quote, thanks. Radical leftism in whatever form it presents is a sinking ship. The problem? The radical leftist ship of America is taking far too long to slip beneath the waves. Even as radical leftist "rats" leap from bow and stern said ship increases to ramming speed in one last desperate effort and with final hope to and of a kamikaze collision attack that will forever damage our America and also sink it eventually. The core ideology and actionable philosophy of radical leftism is always the same: suicide; self-destruction.

Certainly is taking too long....but I don't have the confidence you have.

Look at how closely we dodged the socialist bullet in 2016.

Richard Engel is not a popular man on Twitter right now.

Engel, for those of you who aren't familiar, is NBC News' chief foreign correspondent. As with most every journalist working that beat these days, he's covering the coronavirus outbreak and the fallout.

The reaction/overreaction in the US to the virus seems largely political. Trump’s critics have no confidence in him, so they panic. Others defend Trump no matter what he does and don’t listen to anyone else. Not a recipe for keep calm and carry on. When broken you can’t be strong
