Judge orders Trump to pay nearly $355 million in civil fraud trial

Trump would have never become President if he was this bad. And this tells you all you want to know about the Republican establishment and what they think of their voters.

Anyone that lived in New York city in 60's and 70's, would be well aware of the shenanigans that Trumped pulled.

Professional politicians realize that ever nook and cranny in there personal and profession life is going to be scrutinize by the media, political opponents, and government. Thus they begin whitewashing their personal and professional life, sometime years before getting into politics.

Trump entered politics when he was 70 with a long history of shady busy deals, cavorting with escorts, porn stars, and prostitutes. Surely leaders in the party were aware of the baggage he brought with him.

You got that right. The case was directed by the White House.
That conspiracy theory is going to be pretty hard to sell when Trump goes on trial in other states. In New York his shady business dealing are legendary. I think it would be pretty hard to find any judge or prosecutor that didn't believe Trump was a crook.

Federal election, state can't remove a candidate. Sorry.
That was not the reasoning the Supreme Court Justices gave. They were concerned about the effect on election plus the allegations had not be proving in a court of law. However if the Jan 6th trial convicts Trump on all charge, then the court may agree that the provisions in section 3 of the 14th amendment has been satisfied.

Also should Trump win the election after being convicted on the Jan 6th felony charges, he still might not be inaugurated. Electors in some states might refuse to honor their pledge in placing their vote. Also the House and Senate may refuse to accept the electors.

All of this is very unlikely because it is very unlikely that the people would elect a convicted felon that was facing imprisonment.

His shady business dealings are only legendary since he started getting into politics.
Fortunately for folks that have long memories, we never heard of them during decades of being in the public, mostly because they aren't true.
At this point you leftists are desperate you'll believe anything the corrupt media passes off as reality.

Weird how so many of Trump's lies keep turning out to be true.
And every single time the stories of them become public, the left makes up another story to cover their ass.

HOW WE GOT TO TRUMP'S $354 MILLION FINE:
3/17 - Hunter admits laptop
3/18 - Trump indictment news

6/8 - FBI doc alleges Biden bribe
6/9 - INDICTMENT

7/26 - Hunter plea deal collapses
7/27 - INDICTMENT
7/31 - Devon Archer testifies
8/1 - INDICTMENT

8/11 - DOJ (illegally) designates special counsel
8/14 - FBI Whistleblower transcript released
8/14 - INDICTMENT

12/13 - House authorizes Biden impeachment inquiry
12/19 - Biden family whistleblower testifies
12/19 - Colorado ballot removal

2/14 - Damning evidence proving 'Russiagate' was a hoax
2/15 - Fans Willis hearing
2/16 - Tony Bobulinski transcript on Biden family corruption released
2/16 - $354 million fine & banned from business in NY

Like the fact that Obama was behind Russian Collusion and spying on the Trump Administration. (Operation Crossfire-Hurricane)

Ouch.

The court may reduce his fine but it is unlike the verdict will be over turned.

Trump convicted himself.
He stated that his penthouse was 3 times it's actual size.

Trump insisted that Mar-a-Lago is currently worth $1.5 billion. That would make it worth “more than the most expensive private residence listed in the country by approximately 400%.

I don't think any sane person that reads the trial transcript would disagree with the judge when he said, Trump was unremorseful and highly likely to commit fraud again. His complete lack of contrition and remorse borders on the pathological.

The size of the penthouse was a made up issue pushed by the White House.
Mar-a-Lago isn't just a private residence. It is a social club.
It doesn't matter what words that corrupt asshole judge put on paper because the whole case is based on a non-crime.
But you folks on the left will never admit to it.
Just like you would never admit Russian Collusion was fake.
Just like you think that Trump's home should have been raided and not Biden's.
Seems you assholes fall for every fraud or hoax the White House and the press conspire to push down our throats.
They impeached him over a GD phone call to their Ukrainian friend who's helping them launder billions.
Then they impeached him again over Jan 6th, which he had nothing to do with.
Now they're suing him for legal business deals trying to trash him and ruin him.

Same sort of shit Putin has been doing to his political opposition.

Appeal on what grounds?
The evidence against him is overwhelming.
There was no error in Engoron's decision.
Hahahahahah.
Yep. A fake fraud.
The evidence based off of a biased judge's opinions despite the banks testifying that nothing Trump did was illegal.

Trump made this even worse for himself, of course, because he can't demonstrate any contrition. He can't admit a thing. Both to keep his rubes with him, and because he lacks the fundamental maturity and self esteem to do so.

Oh well.
I mean what leadership qualities does Trump demonstrate? The MAGAs always talk about his strength. He's just a bully. And when he runs into a bigger bully like Putin he folds. That's the guy they cry over

As a casual observer I would like to ask a question.

Is this judgement worse for the trump family than being barred from operating a charity ?
Or operating a fake university ?
Where does it rank ?
It's just money. Trump's real problem are his criminal charges, of which he will be found guilty, because they will put him in prison.

It seems to be quite sound to me.But my vision is not impaired by having my tongue up trumps arse.
Trump's money is tied up with his "brand" - nothing but the best. That's gone. He will forever be known as a fraud. His success story is gone.

Only the ones grifting like the former fuckup.
He submitted

Unless he changes his attitude, he is in for a tough time in his criminal trials. Criminal judges, particular Federal judges won't put up the shit he dosed out in his civil trial. They will hold in contempt and jail if necessary.

But you’re not rich.

They play by different rules
The banks are in on that shit. They are after the huge loan orientation fees. They socialized their risk a long time ago. For poor folks they offer the reverse mortgage. What a joke but as long as people put up with it.....
