No, "Democratic Socialism" in the political realm will not be defined. There is a host of reasons for that.

First, those interested could simply look it up. Turns out, there is quite a variety of flavors thereof, understanding it requires a vocabulary far in excess of what the average audience can muster, smearing the other side's sex life is far easier, and, most importantly, the definition doesn't fit on a bumper sticker.

Second, a proper definition (where such to be had) would reveal clear divisions between, say, the Clinton and Sanders/AOC wings of the Democratic party, and adhering to one side would tick off Democratic-leaning voters who tend toward the other.

Third, were there a proper definition, citizens might discover they like large parts of what it stands for, and, more importantly, realize some parts are even presently implemented. So, in order to retain the big, fat shoshalism bogeyman, Republicans must absolutely do without a definition. Therefore, rightarded PC it is, and "Venezuela" is going to be used to make the bogeyman appear even more fearsome than it already is - for fear is what they have to sell, and sell it they will.
