Kasich commits political suicide

Kasich is just another run of the mill progressive statist. We don't need any more of them. We have too many already.

How could you not know this?

Kasich is a run of the mill corporate whore who does a good job of using "compassionate conservative" rhetoric

which would be good for a general campaign....

but Trump slapped him down good

Trump....who is slowly falling in the polls?

Hope springs eternal in the libturd breast.

Oh, I'd love a Trump GOP nod. Alas, its not happening.

Sure you would. That's why the Dim media spends so much time and effort trying to destroy him.
What does the 'dim media' have to do with me wanting trump to get the GOP nod?

You're like the Avatar of non-sequiturs.

I don't consider the views of the majority of the American people to be 'irrelevance'.

Whether or not they know what the 'Freedom Caucus' is has no bearing on whether or not the Freedom Caucus views are in line with the majority of the public.Simply put, on most issues the majority of Americans don't share the views of the Freedom Caucus.

Making any argument that the Freedom Caucus is 'the people' mere meaningless babble and an obvious fallacy.

I don't care about the 'Freedom Caucus.' And i doubt most Americans care either. But that being said, what are they supporting that you so vehemently oppose? Just curious.

The 'Freedom Caucus' sums up the views of the self proclaimed 'real conservatives'. And demonstrate how far these 'real conservatives' are from the views of the American public. As on most issues, 'real conservatives' are on one side. And the majority of the American public is on the other.

Why are you so afraid to state which of their views you opposed? Which one is it, a balanced budget? Sealing the border? Get spending under control?

My basis of argument isn't what I oppose. Its what the American people oppose. And I've given half a dozen examples of where the Freedom Caucus/fringe right are out of sync with the US public.

My personal opinion doesn't define the opinion of the public in general, being generally irrelevant to it. You're ignoring the public, ignoring the fringe right being out of touch with the majority of Americans on most issues.....

...and are instead desperately trying to make the entire discussion about me personally.

No thank you. I'll stick with my actual argument: how the fringe right is out of touch with the most Americans on most issues.

Which examples? I don't recall seeing any. Neither do a couple of others participating in this thread.

And you've never bothered to read this thread. Try it. I've posted example after example.

If by "relevant qualifications" you mean those that can kiss corporate ass best...............then yes.

By 'relevant experience', I mean having held elected office. With the two most relevant offices to hold for the Presidency being VP or Governor. The latter moreso than the former. As as governor you're acting as an executive in a government balanced by a legislature and a judiciary.

As the president of the United States is.

So you supported Bush over Kerry? Really?

I wasn't aware that Bush or Kerry were running. You seem confused.

Did you support Bush in the 2004 election?

Tell the truth, or we'll laugh you out of the forum.

What relevance does Bush have with this election, my little Red Herring?

And why are you so desperate to change the topic?

You claimed only a governor or a VP was qualified to be elected President. Was Kerry a governor or a VP? Who did you vote for in 2004?

You have exactly the same agenda as the Dim Praetorian Guard media.

I said that holding an elected office, especially a governor or VP was most relevant qualification. Not that only a VP or president was qualified.

And neither Bush nor Kerry are running this year. Even for you, you're redlining on the 'dear god, please let me change the topic' o-meter.

I said that a governor or VP was most relevantly experienced.

I didn't say a word about 'qualified'. Even for you, you're redlining on the 'dear god, please let me change the topic' o-meter.

So you voted for Kerry even though he had no "relevant experience?" Why don't you just admit you don't give a damn about their experience unless you happen to like their agenda?

Kerry's not runnning. Nor is Bush.

Its obvious you don't want to discuss the topic of this thread. And if you want to talk with me, you'll have to.

So you are admitting that Bush was more qualified than Kerry, but you voted for Lurch anyway?

I'm trying to determine what your actual basis for choosing a candidate is. So far it appears you're spouting bullshit purely so you can denigrate the Republican front runners.

Then feel free to pick any candidate who is actually running, and I'll discuss it with you.

Instead, you refuse to discuss Kasich, any issue raised in the OP, any of his criticisms, anything......but an election from 12 years ago.

No thank you. Either make your posts relevant to this thread....or wallow is irrelevance. Its entirely up to you.

So if I can show you a post where I did specifically cite far right policies that the general public doesn't support......

....will you admit you didn't read this thread or that you can't read?

Because it would have to be one or the other.

I like Kasich..he looks at fellow Republicans and says WTF?

Have to see how he does in the debate tonight

Rational people now look at Kasich and ask that same question. WTF?

Here's some GOOD news.

It APPEARS that Kasich may soon have to give it up. Ditto Jeb.

I am not a huge (no pun intended) Chris Christie fan, but he did well enough at the last faux moderated debate (where CNBC journalists prove that the word journalist no longer retains actual meaning in the liberal lexicon) that HE will likely be able to proceed a bit further in this race.

Rand is fading rapidly. Huckabee is flat lining. Good.

Carson did ok. Trump did ok. Fiorino did, too.

Rubio did very nicely.

Cruz kicked ass.

The establishment may want to keep Kasich around for a while cause there is a distaste for the other corporate whores Jeb and Christie.

You mean the guys with the most relevant qualifications?

and all those crooks have is experience at kissing donor ass

Conservatives and republicans willfully ignoring the truth Kasich expressed comes as no surprise, of course.

That the GOP has been misappropriated by dullards, partisan hacks, clueless extremists, and naïve reactionaries is beyond dispute.

The question is can republicans find their way back to being proponents of sound, responsible governance and public policy.

The reaction by most on the right to Kasich's accurate analysis would indicate the answer is 'no.'

Kasich is a big fat liar, just like you.
