Laura Ingraham, David Hogg and the beginning of the end of free speech.

More ignorance and stupidity from the ridiculous right.

The doctrine of free speech concerns solely the relationship between government and those governed, not between and among private persons and organizations.

Neither Laura Ingraham nor David Hogg are guilty of ‘abusing’ freedom of speech as neither are government actors and are consequently devoid of government regulatory authority.

We are in no manner ‘in jeopardy’ of losing freedom of speech.
FALSE! (and quite stupid) Freedom of speech applies to anyone and everyone in America, not just government and those governed. Hogg abused it, by going fascist and sicking sponsors on Laura Ingraham.

Punk brat can dish it out but he can't take it, and he negates and kicks freedom of speech in the process. Fakey biased media covers for him. I still wonder who's pulling the strings on this puppet boy.
You idiot, Ingraham’s sponsors also have freedom of speech which they exercised by kicking her dumb ass to the curb.

Freedom of speech applies to the US government and its relations with its citizens, not to private entities. What on earth are you wittering about?

I didn’t see where freedom of speech only counts when talking to the government, maybe you should read the first amendment for your self.

That's because you're blind to the facts and ignorant of the law, like most on the right.

No 'free speech' has been 'violated.'

Laura Ingraham, the Fox News host of the Ingraham Angle was riding high as she presided over the fourth most watched cable news show in America. She used her freedom of speech to scrawl an emotional screed critical of David Hogg, a high school student who has become the face of the anti-gun movement. Ingraham, well educated, articulate woman, went from the penthouse to the outhouse overnight because she turned to the bathroom stall wall we call Facebook and attacked Hogg with a cheap, signed smear.

Hogg promptly identified her show’s sponsors and called for boycotts which quickly materialized leading Ingraham to take a “planned vacation” which is code for she’s likely gone. Ingraham should have known better.

Whenever or wherever opinions are expressed there is bound to be disagreement because people have different life experiences. This causes most people to reserve personal opinions especially in public settings. In the United States we have the first amendment which essentially means that we can say or write anything so long as what we say or write does not slander or bring harm to others or infringe on the rights of others to express different or unpopular opinions.

The First Amendment is a golden rule of American democracy that sets it apart from most other great civilizations not just in space but in time. When the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991 the event was hailed as a decisive victory for democracies embracing freedom of speech and the table appeared to be set for a golden age of world democracy.

But freedom of speech has a built in flaw: it raises the specter that the people could use it to call for getting rid of it. Just the fact that people are endowed with freedom of speech does not guarantee that they understand its significance or will use it responsibly. When it becomes a means to an end people will find creative ways to abuse it.

Both Laura Ingraham and David Hogg are guilty of abusing freedom of speech. Ingraham went after Hogg with the power of Fox News via Facebook and Hogg went after Ingraham’s livelihood probably on the advice of his political handlers.

Does this balance out? Not really. It’s wrong to crush opposing points of view with power and it’s just as wrong to go after a person’s income because you don’t agree with them.

If we lose freedom of speech here we’ll deserve it.

No one is infringing on Ingraham's right to free speech. She doesn't have the right to have a talk show on a major cable news outlet. Hosting a talk show on a big network is a privilege, not a right.

Obviously, you conservative snowflakes are too dumb to understand that distinction.

because he advoca
There’s nothing stopping Fox News from leaving her show as is and telling the sponsors to stuff it.

But like everything else in Conservatopia, money and profits trump all.

Are you fucking serious? The kid is an asshole. Mega fucking asshole.

He's a mega fucking asshole because he advocates for stricter gun control and fought back against the reprehensible Ingraham?

You and all the conservative snowflakes criticizing the kid are mega fucking assholes.

Hogg is a crisis actor and the whole Parkland crime was orchestrated by Globalist minions within the FBI ....

That doesn't mean that it's OK for Hogg to delete Laura Ingraham's free speech, by doing what he did (or his puppetmasters).

As for the sponsors, they will slowly feel the sting of conservative reaction, as boycotts against them are building on a J curve. Will they survive ? You or I can't answer that. TIME will tell.

He didn't "delete" her free speech. She's allowed to say whatever she wants about him.

Hogg never changed his story. Your nuttiness is laughed at and dismissed.
What is being laughed at is YOU, for the use of a moron video, in your posts, that was exposed as 100% FALSE, almost 2 years ago. Get a brain. You're lucky you're not getting sued by Kovaleski himself. :290968001256257790-final:

No she wasn't. She was ramrodded right off the air. Try showing a modicum of intelligence. But then again, as long as that signature video is with you, you're a lost cause.

Did you miss civics class when in high school???

Freedom of speech applies to the US Govt....

The US govenment can not stop you from saying whatever you want to say, against them or others.

It has absolutely NOTHING to do with Laura Ingraham mouthing off, or David Hogg's 'free speech' when he responded.

He keeps his shit up he's going to regret it.

:lmao:

He's going to need an armed body guard and that will be the sweetest moment evah!!!!!!!
So...this is what you've become?....a sad little threatener of physical violence? You are coming across as exactly the kind of mentally ill person who should be kept from guns.
Agreed. Tiny sounds completely unhinged.

LOL

Nope, never proven false. It's not false merely because you wish it was.

Oh bite me. That wasn't a threat of violence. Gun grabbers have no problem with armed security guards. Height of hypocrisy.
