The Atlanta Fed is projecting the third-quarter GDP number released on Oct. 29 will be 34.6%. That would be the fastest quarterly economic growth in history. Even if the projection is high, even if the number comes in at 30%, or 27%, or 25%, it would still be the highest in America's history, by a wide margin.

But wait; it gets better. Trump achieved this miracle with a large portion of the country closed for business. Trump did it with deep-blue states such as California, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Illinois and Michigan mostly locked down and closed for business for most of the quarter.

What if all those states had been open for business?


But it gets better. On Friday, the government announced U.S. core retail sales were up a stunning 9.1% year to year -- the greatest rise in America's history. Again, this happened while a dozen blue states were still mostly shut down. They didn't even have indoor dining in California and most of New York City in September.



Optimism of small-business owners climbed to an all-time high in September. Even more significant, the National Federation of Independent Business optimism index October reading of 204 points was the highest since January. That means small-business owners are the most excited and optimistic they've been since before the pandemic.

How dare you take the name of Ronald Reagan in vain. Ronald Reagan would never be a part of the Trump Republican Party. He would be the first to condemn Donald Trump.

1. Ronald Reagan ran a optomistic campaign and he ran his White House the same way. He didn't threaten his political opponents with phony criminal charges or personally attack them. He didn't urge his supporters to attack protestors. When Ronald Reagan lost the Republican nomination in a bitterly contested Republican nomination in 1976, he accepted the loss. He didn't make fake claims about fraud although he had legitimate greviances.

2. The fact is that a significant part of Trump's support is right wing Nazi thugs. The FBI has also said that these groups are a bigger concern than Islamic terrorists. This was in full display in the assault on our country Wednesday. These evil people need to be defeated.

3. Ronald Reagan was responsible for the economic boom that occurred in the 80s. His tax cuts was one of the major reasons for the economic prosperity. The economy was already recovering when Trump took office. Neither Obama or Trump are responsible. Trump's colossal failure on the coronavirus has destroyed the economy.

4. The current iteration of the Republican Party has no clue what prosperity is about. The Republican coronavirus bill was a feast for lobbyists while Americans were a afterthought. The Republican refusal to even vote on a $2,000 stimulus check for Americans shows how clueless Republicans are on economic policy. The initial stimulus bill succeeded in cushioning the economy from the worst effects of the coronavirus. Republican stalling and providing a weak stimulus bill could potentially turn a recession into something worse.

Trump is about nothing but revenge when people cross him. Barr was fired because he admitted there was no evidence of any fraud. Trump is already vowing revenge on the Republican governors of Georgia and Ohio. Georgia because Kemp refused to disenfranchise Biden voters.

Reagan and Trump.....two pro-American Republicans who worked to produce prosperity and religious freedom for all Americans.
