Not paying taxes "makes me smart."

No Donald it makes you a rich asshole who takes advantage of the tax code.
Exactly. When he said that, not only did it piss me off personally, but it makes you think, "How can someone run the country, take taxes from everyone else, and never pay them himself?" Some kind of true elitist asshole who has no right at all to hold public office.

How can a former president and secretary of state run a hundreds of million dollar "foundation" and pocket far more millions for themselves than the pittance they give to charity just to make it look good?

10% is standard charitable giving.
Why don't you pull up the foundation's financials and the Clinton's returns and explain to us how that worked?
It's all available.
Fine. I will look at the financials and you read.(below)

If you are saying 10% is the standard for how much of a charity is used on the needy themselves you are living in a fantasy world.
You are an obedient soldier for the cause, admit to nothing.

THE CLINTON FOUNDATION IS A FRAUD; VERY LITTLE $$$$ GOES TO PROJECTS

Reacting to attacks on the Clinton Foundation, its defenders have cited the wonderful charitable works the organization performs. But an examination of the Foundation’s 2013 tax return, by federalist.com indicates that only 10% of its budget went directly to grants tofulfill its charitable purposes.

According to the Federalist, the Foundation spent:

CLINTON FOUNDATION SPENDING, 2013

Charitable Grants 10%
Travel 10%
Rent 5%
Office Supplies 6%
IT Services 2%
Salaries, Benefits 33%
Other Expenses 34%

In other years, the Foundation spent more on grants. In 2008, for example, it spent nearly $100 million purchasing and distributing medicine to needy people. But, by 2011, those activities amounted to only $1.2 million and, by 2012 and 2013, the Foundation spent nothing on these activities.

According to charitynavigator.org, seven out of ten charities spend at least 75% of their funds on the programs and services they exist to provide. Nine of ten spend two-thirds of their funds on these purposes. The ten percent figure in the Clinton Foundation is absurd.

What do they do with the money? They underwrite Bill’s travel (and now Hillary’s). They presumably provide them with staff without their having to use campaign funds for it. They pay for all of the Clinton’s lavish Foundation events. By the way, one thing you will never see on the Clinton’s tax returns is entertainment expenses. They never personally pay for any of it. And the Foundation maintains a 4000 square foot apartment for the Clintons in Little Rock.

Of course, the Foundation revenue stream is quite apart from the personal funds that flow to the Clintons from their speeches, all of which goes into their joint bank accounts. But many of the Foundation donors also find a way to give the Clintons personal money by paying exorbitant speaking fees.

10% is standard for personal giving there Einstein.

it's biblical------and SOCIALIST. ask Jesus.

Loopholes for rich people. I for one want Donald to pay some taxes. But who wrote the laws? Who created the loopholes? Politicians. Politicians like the extremely rich clintons. The problem isn't trump, the problem is our rich politicians are making the laws and they are not making them with you in mind. Don't hate the player hate the game, the tax game.

If you're wondering how the tax code gets written to favor people like D. Trump... look no further than the below

donald-trump-buy/

Donald Trump bragged Thursday night that he could buy politicians — even the ones sharing the stage with him at a Republican presidential debate.

Trump was asked about something he said in a previous interview: “When you give, they do whatever the hell you want them to do.”

“You’d better believe it,” Trump said. “If I ask them, if I need them, you know, most of the people on this stage I’ve given to, just so you understand, a lot of money.”

No Donald it makes you a rich asshole who takes advantage of the tax code.

Hillary used to donate Slick's used underwear and take a deduction for them.

More like they donate 10% of the income that they pay the full 35% federal income tax on.

Yes, donating it to their slush fund is very thoughtful.

Explain how it's a slush fund.

that means "their own '''charitable"' foundation"

No Donald it makes you a rich asshole who takes advantage of the tax code.

As well as an unpatriotic douche.
It wasn't enough to pay only 5-10%, he needed to get it to zero.

We do not know how much he paid why do you assume it was 0 ?

Because Shillary speculated that it might be 0?

Because he didn't refute it but actually took the opportunity to call himself smart for it.

So a quick answer to a what if, purely speculative with no basis in truth remark is now the absolute truth

We're getting there. He will continue to be raked over the coals for not releasing.

I have no idea what you are saying? It cannot be that charities are expected to give only 10% of what they take in to the actual needs of their cause?

It's undeniably a charitable foundation. Please explain how it is not and how the Clintons could possibly profit personally from it.

It is fair if it is done legally, maybe we need to vote out those in Congress that write the damn laws and not get pissed that someone takes advantage of the laws that the government is allowing.

Yes, making a shit ton and not paying into the American system because you have slick lawyers is not a virtue

Then vote the SOBs that write the stupid laws out of office. I don't agree with the bullshit either but I'm not going to blame Americans for taking advantage of the tax code. Do you take legal deductions to cut your tax payment down? If you do, you are no different than Trump.

It is Congress that write the laws, they and they alone are to blame.

No dice champ. Trump pays nothing in taxes then its Trump who is to blame for stiffing the American people.

And so you stiff America to? Do you take all your deductions?

Is this how you let everyone know that paying nothing in taxes is a net positive? By asking me questions instead of making statements of support?

You are the asshole that claims Trump is stiffing America by paying as little taxes as possible. I know why you won't anser the question honestly, it is because you take all the deductions you can legally. Just like Trump, however you want Trump taking deductions as bad. Pretty silly nutter crap.

Funny how neither dems or reps make any moves to actually CLOSE those loopholes, huh?

Why would they Chris? The government writes the laws for themselves to benefit, they are the rich, they write laws to benefit the rich. They are not going to close up the loopholes the Democrats pretend to hate. Remember when GE paid no taxes the left said nothing.

everyone pays sales taxes, the more stuff you buy the more you pay. The rich buy more stuff and pay more sales taxes. its really not very complicated.

The rich DO NOT buy more stuff as a % of their income, they buy LESS and thats even more true during recessionary periods, where their savings shoot through the roof and low income households still spend everything to make ends meet.

Do you have a link to your statement?

Sorry, I am just a child. And getting bored playing this game with you.

the wealthiest paying less taxes, puts more of the tax burden debt on to the rest of us...it causes our national debt to grow faster, the feds to mess with interest rates, the devaluation of our money/ cost of living hike for us....credit ratings to go down, higher interest payments on our debt....just a gazillion things that hurt us....

Exactly. LEGAL deductions. He's probably fudging the living shit out of his taxes. On live TV he said he makes $600 million per year. And he pays ZERO taxes. Are you fucking kidding me?

And he wonders why he's under audit. He's a fucking crook and a sociopath and a serial liar.

REALLY??

The apologies from the Trump puppets is so funny. Donald's come back about taking advantage of the housing crash shows his lack of Americanism and demonstrates he is simply a snake oil salesman. A conman. But his followers don't care, partisan BS has blinded them for so long they have a hard time knowing which way is up. And the irony of all ironies is his team is whining today because Mrs Clinton was prepared. What a dumb joke the right wing has become, too stupid to know stupidly when it hits them in the face.

"My preview of the debate yesterday focused on the fact that Trump’s “serious” debates at the end of the primaries, when there were fewer rivals, gave us some clues about how he might perform in the main event. He was aggressively incoherent and sometimes completely unintelligible, proving repeatedly that he had absolutely no idea what he was talking about. This has actually been obvious from the beginning of his campaign if you watched his rallies and interviews. It’s just that his personality is so remarkably bizarre that I think the lack of substance is easy to overlook. (I confess I have been somewhat surprised that so many people find his rambling “braggadociousness” appealing enough that they fail to notice that he is ignorant about everything important to the job of president.)"

Hillary dominates — and Donald Trump gave the worst debate performance of any candidate ever

PS My wife and I have paid top rate for most of our careers so please dipshits leave that weak reply for your fellow morons. Donald pays none fools.
