The RCP scoreboard has Hagen winning in N.C.

That could turn...easily.

If it did and Roberts survives...could go to 54 for the GOP.

RDean think the GOP will get creamed in 2016. A high probability he smokes crack.

Maybe people want politicians helping the country rather than playing politics on things like Benghazi.

It was claimed the Republicans were obstructing and blocking legislation and I just showed that it was the Democrats in the Senate.

None of the Republican bills reaching The Senate have had the 60 votes needed to reach the floor

What makes you think they should have gone forward?

According to the GOP President Bush, it was necessary.
According to the GOP appointed SECTRES, it was necessary.
According to the GOP nominee for POTUS, it was necessary.

You libs OWN the TARP bailout, 241 Democrats voted for the TARP bailout vs only 19 Republicans I know that's like acid on your skin just deal with it.

Thanks for another reason to laugh.
It's Bush's bail out as I demonstrated twice. You're just upset that nobody agrees with you.

For months Republicans have been boasting of their inevitable taking of the Senate in 2014. It seems the tide has turned and a Republican win is less likely

Once having a 60-40 probability of taking the Senate, Democrats now have a 59-41 probability of holding the Senate

Are Republicans blowing their chance to retake the Senate? - The Week

I don't see it but boy, I hope you're right.

That was posted last May. There was a time when it looked like the GOP would ONLY GAIN seats, but not take the majority.

Five months later and RW is pissing in her pants.

This is based on RClear with no toss ups. I always hold my breath for the last minute legitimate rape comments. But it seems that Iowa may go the GOP for just that reason.

Of course, RW is long gone.

Now, if the GOP can rescue Roberts in Kansas, it may be even better for them.

I think you'll be able to save the canned, old,played, and of course moronic improper election allegations for 2016;

I don't see it but boy, I hope you're right.

Why? Do you want communist lying low life scum liberals running the country?

They're doing better than the communist lying low life scum conservatives did or did you miss the $800B bail out Bush authorized as he was packing his bags? Someday let me tell you about their lies to the Pat Tillman family about how he died in combat. When I get through with that...perhaps we can talk about Scooter Libby who was judged guilty by a judge appointed by the same man who pardoned him...then maybe we can talk about WMDs,

Good lord please tell me you don't vote. First of all the TARP bailout was passed by the Democratic party controlled congress. HELLO earth to liberals 241 Democrats voted for the TARP bailout, guess how many Republicans voted for it...19 you Democrats freaking OWN the TARP bailout so stop your damn lying.
So in your cartoonish view of history....one day the Democrats all got together and said..."Lets bail out the banks." Nobody from the Treasury department or the SEC was around....it was all the Democrats?

At the risk of boring the 99.9% of the GOP that knows what happened I will now teach you. The Bush Administration with their "hands off" approach to the markets allowed the banks to do whatever they wanted for 8 years. Banks would loan money to anyone who wanted it and then sell the loan to someone else thus making money on both ends of the transaction...on the start up fees for the loan and in the sale. They didn't care because they had no risk. And then, one day, the buyers were not making money off of people who didn't make the payments on the loan, stopped buying, and then the banks were left holding the bag.

In steps the Treasury department. They tell the Congress that the economy is, suddenly on the brink of collapse.

Those are the facts and they are not in dispute.

Also, Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo and Goldman Sachs repaid ALL their TARP bailout money so what do you have to bitch about?
Did they re-hire all of the people they layed off while, in some cases, giving their upper management bonuses?
Bank of America Layoffs
JPMorgan to cut 8 000 jobs
Morgan Stanley cuts 1 600 jobs as business languishes Reuters
Wells Fargo lays off 2 300 employees - Aug. 22 2013
Goldman Sachs To Cut 10 Percent Of Work Force

You were told to hate banks and you obeyed like mindless drones.
I have accounts at 3 banks. Strange for someone who "hates" them....dontchathink?

If you want to bitch about something why not General Motors, we will never get back all the TARP money idiot Obama gave them including the billions he gave General Motors to bail out their pension fund. Where's my free pension paid for by the taxpayers?
And there is the critical difference between conservatives and liberals.

On one hand, banks that reward their upper management for the absolute criminal mis-management with bonuses and you're asking what is wrong with that.

On the other hand, money from the same fund is used to prop up pensions for workers, and you're aghast at such a thing!!!

Pensions are something you work for by punching a clock every day...bonuses are (supposedly) given for good performance. Since you obviously have no clue about labor and working...you should be wondering where your bonus is.

You libs are giving me a brain tumor.
You'd have to have a brain first.

--------

That being said, one of the most disappointing things about the Obama administration is how the banks that were too big to fail are still too big to fail. That his commerce department hasn't fixed this glaring issue is probably the most enduring shortcoming of his 8 years he'll have spent in office.

The problem is obvious
The cure is obvious.
The man either can't or won't make himself take on the issue of fixing the problem. I guarantee you that the next time they get into hot water, we'll have another round of bail-outs. They're too integral to the economy to have them fail.

What part of 241 Democrats voted for the TARP bailout vs only 19 Republicans can't you get through your thick liberal Neanderthal skull?

I think you're confused: (Wiki)

On October 1, 2008, the Senate debated and voted on an amendment to H.R. 1424, which substituted a newly revised version of the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 for the language of H.R. 1424.[7][8]The Senate accepted the amendment and passed the entire amended bill, voting 74–25.[9] Additional unrelated provisions added an estimated $150 billion to the cost of the package and increased the length of the bill to 451 pages.[10][11] (SeePublic Law 110-343 for details on the added provisions.) The amended version of H.R. 1424 was sent to the House for consideration, and on October 3, the House voted 263–171 to enact the bill into law.[7][12][13] President George W. Bush signed the bill into law within hours of its congressional enactment, creating the $700 billion Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) to purchase failing bank assets.[14] TARP was dwarfed by other guarantees and lending limits; analysis by Bloomberg found the Federal Reserve had, by March 2009, committed $7.77 trillion to rescuing the financial system, more than half the value of everything produced in the U.S. that year.[15]

All these jobs bill passed by the House and stalled in the Senate.

Which is a sterling example on why we need to enhance the Constitution to force one house to consider the work of the other house with a full body vote within 90 days of receiving it.

The titles of many the bills are childish and probably deserved to go down in flames but our representatives in this Republic should have to put their names next to a "YEA" or "NAY" vote on the antics.

That they are able to hide behind some committee chair or majority leader's unwillingness to allow a bill to move forward is a sad commentary on the state of affairs. And lets not forget, when Reid does not allow stuff like this to the floor, it also gives cover to the GOP members of the Senate as well since they wouldn't have to line up behind such nonsense as "Protecting Jobs from Government Interference Act." Battleground state Republicans are happy not to have to have voted for this in the Senate.

It's a sterling example of dishonesty.

None of the Republican bills reaching The Senate have had the 60 votes needed to reach the floor

What makes you think they should have gone forward?

Allow me to educate your dumb ass.

To consider a bill on the floor, the Senate first must agree to bring it up – typically by agreeing to a unanimous consent request or by voting to adopt a motion to proceed to the bill. Only once the Senate has agreed to consider a bill may Senators propose amendments to it.

Reid controls what bills the Senate "brings up".

Harry s rules Reid dominates crippled Congress - Washington Times

Gee, you mean he was only cherry picking facts to support some lame-assed conclusion? Who knew (besides everyone)

Yes Reid, a Democrat, control the Senate.

Who the hell am I supposed to cite?

When the Senate passes a bill and the GOP House sits on it (Immigration bill back in 2013)...you could cite that.

The Washington Post cites:

It works the other way, too, of course. Lots of bills are passed by the Senate that the House ignores. There are over 70 bills that meet that criterion at this moment.

Yes the Senate is ignoring hundreds of bills passed by the GOP House. But it 8217 s always that way. - The Washington Post

Oh sorry, I thought you all yer talking about Sports!

According to the GOP President Bush, it was necessary.

You demonstrated ignorance, sadly I fear you will continue down that path.

you are so fucked in the head your brains oozed from your ears..., providing you had some to ooze :lmao:

the reason the Republicans have obstructed and blocked everything possible since 2010 is to keep your king/messiah or what the fuck ever from turning this country into something the commies would be very envious of.

You people can never give a single example of Obama trying to push communism. What you're saying is complete non sense.

You people can never give a single example of Obama trying to push communism. What you're saying is complete non sense.

ooooh my Gawwwd how i love this, recall the days when blacks were referred to as "you people" and here we have a full fledged lying liberal demorat calling us Conservatives & Republicans.., "you people".., i am truly offended.., in fact, so offended that i was in a state of total dismay to have to retype such slander, unbelievably horrified that a fellow human being could stoop so low to use such horrible language as THAT towards us BEAUTIFUL people.

dogonit any how, i totally forgot to answer your question due to your rudeness, "give a single example" , we have, millions of examples, the problem here is, you are so deeply involved in his style of communism, we can not get it thru your (ALL LIBS INCLUSIVE) thick skulls you have been :suck: in and now you are doing the :suck:ing up the propaganda being spewed from WDC, to be specific, the current ruling political regime......

Barry Hussein, Soetoro, Obamama, who holds a stolen SS#, no legitimate B.C., pot smoking drug mule..., and more !! .....

In that long rant you never once gave any example of Obama being a communist or wanting to turn America into a communist nation.

The fact that you use that word on Obama and democrats shows that you either don't know the meaning of words in the english language or you're just another right wing liar.

If Obama was a communist then he's the worst communist in the world. If he were a communist he would have had the government confiscate all business, property and real estate. He would make everyone employees of the government. He would have shut down the stock exchange because the government would own everything and there would be no need for stocks. You would no longer own your home and would pay the government rent to live there. All farms would have been confiscated and turned into collective farms owned by the government with everyone who worked there being government employees.

Face it, you and the rest of you conservatives just use words that you think are scary to people in order to get them to vote against their own self interest.

Guess what? It's not working.

Michigan is now in play.

It would be great if the GOP could tie up seats like that for at least six years.
