But there is a real push towards open borders by the Democrats. I really dont think they know what they are doing but they know they need to keep certain constituents happy, which is why they are for sanctuary cities, health care for all immigrants regardless of legal status, drivers licenses for all immigrants regardless of legal status, refusal to cooperate with ICE even if someone convicted of a violent offense is put back out on the street.
All these things point to the intentions of the democrat party... as confused as they probably are. Under their control we would move towards open borders progressively a little at a time as concession after concession was made.
