Sarah Huckabee Sanders Takes Swipe At Kamala Harris For Not Having Kids​

Introducing Trump at his town hall in Flint, Michigan, Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders — who served as press secretary in Trump's administration — appeared to take a swipe at Harris for not having children.

Sanders told a brief anecdote about tearing up while helping her daughter get ready for a dance.

"'It's okay mommy, one day you can be pretty too,'" Sanders said her daughter told her. "So my kids keep me humble. Unfortunately, Kamala Harris doesn't have anything keeping her humble."

She continued: "You would think after four years of straight failure, she would know a little humility. Unfortunately she doesn't."

While Harris is a stepmother of two, Republicans have still attacked her for not having biological children. Most notably, JD Vance in 2021 questioned Harris' ability to lead, calling her one of the Democratic Party's "childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too."
