Sub Prime did not mean CRA. Most of the Sub Prime market was non traditional lenders and not effected by the CRA.

Most of the sub prime mess was forced by the clinton admin to loan to minorities and others who couldnt pay. Andrew Cuomo even predicted it, but didnt care, they were "helping" minorities, until it blew up and fucked them.

Wrong they were forced with civil rigjts action if t hey didmt lend to very questionable.minorities, ie forced to lend to them. Cuomo called it, ooooops
