President Biden's 8/20/2021 Address to the Nation Regarding Afghanistan

"the question" means a previous question asked before. NPR reporter didn't ask his own "pre-approved" question and asked a follow-up question. It forced Biden to clear what he said. When Biden said Americans could pass the checkpoint with USA passport, he meant the checkpoint at the airport front, not the checkpoints at the city.
Clearly the questions asked were prearranged and there was an attempt to conceal that from the people. He was asked a question in a different way than the script said and it confused him

If you think Democrats care about American lives or the lives of those who help America, you're mistaken. Democrats see the news in Afghanistan and root for the Taliban.

The Taliban are the good guys.
They never lied, cheated, stole, or committed fraud.
The US did all those things, and illegal murder tens of thousands innocent Taliban.
They used to be our allies, we knew they were innocent, and we attacked them anyway.

An odd statement. How, so?

We allied with the Taliban when they were part of the Mujahedeen back in 1979.
The Taliban were always known as the most upright and honest.
We knew they had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks.
We were the traitors then, not the Taliban.

The Taliban did not emerge until AFTER the Soviets got their asses kicked. Their roots are in the Mujahedeen, but they are not the Mujahedeen!

When were you jihadist radicalized?
As for sure you revise history.

this may go down in history as the worst PC in history

You know the dems lost it when even the Cuomo News Network calls them out for their lies in real time

the Taliban didn’t exist in 1979. If you want to be taken seriously at least have a basic understanding of the topic

Common Democrat mindset right here.

The Taliban were always part of the Mujahedeen, and they had to take over after the Soviets were gone, because the warlords were committing murder, robbery, rape, kidnapping, etc.
The Taliban were the least corrupt and most honest, so became the most popular.

Of course they existed in 1979.
They just had not separated from the more corrupt members of the Mujahedeen yet, and adopted their own name.

The good guys...

The guys so 'good' they stone women for being raped and bar girls from receiving an education as one is not necessary to be sold into sex slavery...

Those 'good' guys.

Sometimes I think you can never one up the last insane thing I see you state then you surprise me. I cant fathom how you can one up this one though...

I am not Biden's fan, but he clarified it at the end (because a reporter asked a follow-up question). He thought the original question was something else. Anyway, he meant Americans with USA passports should be able to pass the airport's checkpoint and got into the airport.
Is it really even relevant if the question was pre-approved or not anyway? It is pretty clear that no one anywhere cares or is worried that people at the airport are not the real concern but that people getting to the airport is.

It is astounding that the administration continually wants to paint this as a win when it was clearly a massive disaster. The guy that was supposed to understand how government works after the last fuckup was in office is making a mistake of epic proportions that was a known outcome when he started this process.

This is not just a fuckup, it was a fuckup that was intentionally ploughed into.
