President Trump agrees to debate Harris on FOX News on September 4

Michael Tyler, Harris campaign communications director, reacts to Trump’s debate statement: “Donald Trump is running scared and trying to back out of the debate he already agreed to and running straight to Fox News to bail him out. He needs to stop playing games and show up to the debate he already committed to on Sept 10. The Vice President will be there one way or the other to take the opportunity to speak to a prime time national audience. We’re happy to discuss further debates after the one both campaigns have already agreed to. Mr. Anytime, anywhere, anyplace should have no problem with that unless he’s too scared to show up on the 10th.”

Why are you all so adamant he debate on abc? Why is the Fox News debate not sufficient?

lol, neutral setting….

The site of the First Debate was a hostile one for President Trump, at CNN with radical left "moderators" who hated his guts.

This was how Sleepy Joe wanted it.

The 2nd debate should be at a conservative venue. How about a packed Hornets' Stadium in Hermitage PA?

You're assuming that Kamala Harris is bright, intelligent, and articulate. Even though we quit watching the FOX channel, a debate on there would be far better than ABC.

FOX is actually really good these days.

Esp. in primetime.

They're behind Trump 100%.

Even day time is mostly good.

The only stinker is Neil Cavuto, or when they bring on Karl Rove.

Other than that ya got Jessie Watters, Greg Gutfeld, Laura Ingraham - all great.

And they fired most of the people who pulled the AZ BS back in '20.

HA!

The Harris campaign has now officially turned down the debate.

"Donald Trump is running scared and trying to back out of the debate he already agreed to and running straight to Fox News to bail him out. Не needs to stop playing games and show up to the debate he already committed to on Sept 10," the campaign said in a statement. "The Vice President will be there one way or the other to take the opportunity to speak to a prime time national audience. "
"We're happy to discuss further debates after the one both campaigns have already agreed to. Mr. Anytime, anywhere, anyplace should have no problem with that unless he's too scared to show up on the 10th."

It's laughable that Kamala thinks she can accuse Trump of backing out of a previously agreed to debate when he never actually agreed to debate her. It's plainly obvious that Kamala doesn't want to debate Donald Trump—especially after what happened to Joe Biden. Remember when Kamala Harris got destroyed by Tulsi Gabbard during the 2020 Democratic primary debates? Do you think she'll do any better against Trump? Of course not. She doesn't want to debate Trump at all. That's why she is trying to claim that the original debate schedule magically applies to her even though she wasn't the candidate.

Clearly, we're not likely to see a debate between these two candidates, and that's a shame. Instead, we're going to be in a perpetual stalemate where each candidate will accuse the other of backing out.
