No, the invasion was illegal by international law. The treaties were approved by Congress, thus giving those treaties Constitutional authority. The invasion was a high crime, and all who voted for it (the vast majority of whom were lawyers!) literally traitors to the U.S. The the Bush League knew the information was false only worsens the crime, if that were possible.The question would be….Was the invasion because of a lie that Bush knew not to be true.
