And do you agree that people should pay no more than 30% of their income to pay for their housing and that government should pay the rest?

While we're at it, should we make it Christmas every day?

I heard from one of the candidates that if you are paid $1,000 a month whether you work or not, get free medical insurance, then my question is, why the fuck would you need to go to college if everything is provided for? Just sit back do nothing, get paid to be worthless and let someone else foot the bill, right liberals?

Yeah, actually, I do support universal healthcare, and free or reduced college for all.

Why do I support that? Because it's what I had in the military. If I got hurt or sick, I just went to sick call and was taken care of. Have kinda the same thing as a retiree with the VA.

And, yeah, I think that college has become way overpriced. In the military, you could take courses and the military would pay for up to 90 percent of the cost.

College has become overpriced because of government involvement. Universities are SWIMMING in money. College administrators and faculty are paid a fortune and college students and taxpayers are footing the bill because colleges know that the government will loan any amount. If you make it ''free'', college administrators and faculty will become even further enriched. Is that what you want?

If you want to reduce college tuition, get the federal government out of it entirely.

I am open to some sort of public option for the 10% or so of people with no insurance, especially diabetics, people who have hit their lifetime caps, etc. Those who can afford to pay something for that public option should be required to do so. If you are a diabetic living in a McMansion and pulling in 6 figures, your uninsureability shouldn't be a lottery ticket. I do support free college at the community college level based on availability and some sort of standard of academic merit and then two years free at a public university based on merit/income. CAveat is the colleges would have to accept a uniform price per student--not whatever they elected to charge. I would be open for the community college to be available to others for non-degree programs for free if it is directly related to marketable skills like welding, etc.

Housing is a personal choice. Other than us needing to expand public housing and improving the stock available, that is as far as I would go there.

I was in the military too, when I got sick, instead of seeing a professional, I got some capt or maj, who came from Bombay India, working to get his residency. I had real stomach problems but he said it was cramps and sent me home. It was an intestinal flu, which a doctor at an ER diagnosed and gave the antibiotics to fix the problem. As for Free everything else, Cuba is open, there is free everything including healthcare, when you spend a few years there, at the Socialist Utopian Paradise, get back to me how much you love it. Otherwise take your free shit and shove it up your ass.

How much of your income do you spend on housing?

So-called ''free'' healthcare and tuition will collapse the economy as we know it. Our nation's standard of living will drop significantly and our education and healthcare will actually be diminished.

Irrelevant. Why should one be obligated to pay another's housing expenses? It never ends with you guys. You want someone else to pay for housing, food, healthcare, college education and what else? It's not doable. Besides, why do you want to give incentives NOT to work?

Can the public education system be diminished anymore? From what I see only private schools, like the ones Congress and Senate send their children to, are doing fine.

Well, those lazy liberal schlobs dont want to go to work, because it would interfere wit their dope smoking habit. Why else do they support assholes who want to take from hard working people.

Flu, intestinal or otherwise, is viral. It doesn't respond to antibiotics.
