We could have a great Federal government for about $1.5 trillion a year. That would pay for defense, courts, state department, border patrol and the other necessary things the Federal government should provide.

Paying for roads should be a separate bill.

Of course if we only funded the necessary things the welfare queens and entitlement assholes would scream and yell.

Significantly cutting spending is the only sane thing to do. Having a bloated debt ridden out of control Federal government that is funded by high taxation is a recipe for disaster. We are just fucking ourselves.
