Republicans taking Blame for Shutdown - Polls

My prediction is that the effect caused by the current situation will be GOP disaster at the polls peaking in 2016. Followed by their rebirth as a centrist political force. I think that it's completely up in the air as to what the reborn party will be called.

That's just liberal wishful thinking. The dream of repeating the 1990s is what you all kept hoping for going into this, and even though it is completely not working, you see what you want to see anyway.

Actually a lot of us who had given up on the Republicans as being jellyfish are starting to see at least a hint of a reason to support them again. Even the liberal Republicans recognized this and didn't splinter. But to be a liberal, you have to be self deluded, so there is no reason you wouldn't see it through your myopic eyes, and of course you are not.

Self-deluded. That can't be worse than conservative delusion by others for political reasons.

By this time one would think Republicans would be taking credit for the shut-down. Why are Republicans not telling the nation they saved the country with their shutdown? Instead Republicans now seem almost ashamed of the their shutdown, and worse, now seem to be trying to find someone or someplace to put the blame. Would we not wonder if the Republicans suddenly said the Democrats were responsible for the shutdown, it doesn't make good sense.

The % of assholes is pretty small too. The only difference is that a lot of them are vocationally successful. Some are in the government vocation.

In my experience assholes are pretty common. As a matter of fact, I've noticed that just about every single example of every single living species has one.
