Revisionist history focusing on 1/6 is getting louder.

Hard to call that sedition since it would never happen.

No armed resistance in this country could ever withstand the US military, so I suppose committing sedition is literally impossible in your framing?
Not impossible, just armed, and organized. The J6 rioters were neither. Once they got in, which were told was death to Democracy, they were harmless and calmly walked around the interior of the building as police let more people in.

That’s not a threat.

You are welcome to factually dispute the evidence about 1/6 that is in the public sphere. But we both know you can't.
Explain why the “committee” destroyed all their FABRICATED “evidence” rather than turn it over as demanded? We all know you can’t.

It could. If it did, you’d lock that person up for 15 years because of what they intended?
If you had a realistic hypothetical, your point might be useful, but it’s an absurdity and deserves none.

The action taken is consistent with the goal of sedition. Whether it could potentially succeed is irrelevant so long as the action is related to the offense.

Define arms. Are you limiting it to guns? Surely you point to the statute that says it’s only sedition when they have guns. Of course you can’t, because its not necessary.

As for their actions once in the Capitol, we know their target was Congress who was successfully evacuated. They sure were a threat, which is why Congress was evacuated.

So a single person who “intends” to overthrow the government by throwing a quarter at the building is guilty of sedition and 15 years???

What affect on the government would throwing a quarter at the Capitol have?

Moron, Congress is supposed to represent THE PEOPLE.

Any Congress critter who wasn't a total fucking coward would have gone out and talked to the crowd. They would have listened. BUT NO. They ran like the two bit cowards they are. AWAY from the people who elected them. That's why they have a NINE percent approval rating.

They were in session, you flaming idiot. And once Trump's thugs broke into the building, Congress had no choice but to evacuate.

Can't talk to these leftards. ^^^

They don't understand English. ^^^

What affect did a bunch of Morons coming into the capital do?

None.

The session resumed hours later

It had the effect of emptying out the 2 chambers and stalling the count. And the ONLY reason that's as bad as it got was because police did a remarkable job of evacuating everyone before any of the lawmakers were hurt or killed.

Throwing a quarter at the building would do nothing at all. Admit it, that was a pretty stupid analogy.

You haven't proven she was asked before Insurrection Day.
Yet the Seargent-at-Arms of the Capitol Police Board says he did ask.

Why do the people involved disagree with you?

Just because you can not prove something with Google, which is a very good political propaganda tool, does not mean it is true or untrue.

Now if you had access to the Standard Operating Procedure that dictates the activities of their job, you and I would know so much more.
