There is a video showing that the Kenosha police were patrolling in an armored vehicle, supposedly to enforce the curfew, and broadcasting a command to clear the streets, yet they just greeted a bunch of people who were clearly carrying weapons, including Rittenhouse, instead of telling them to clear out or be arrested. Rittenhouse's killing spree began right after that. the Kenosha cops were obviously negligent.

I've heard a story that the Kenosha police chief was involved with the gang that Rittenhouse was running with, but this has not been substantiated. I'm hoping that all of this comes out at trial.
