What's your point Lakhota? I already put up the map of all the pipelines currently crossing the Ogallala.

None of your whacked out liberal objections to the Keystone Pipeline are genuine.

How do I know this? Because you motherfuckers never peeped off about all of these.

Kiss my ass that you guys care.

How about if we gave 5% of the profit to the tribe for building it on their land? Would that be fair???
Fuck no! What about white people in South Dakota?
I would assume any landowner has to be paid for an easement over his land. The Sioux should be begging the oil companies to run the damn thing over their Reservation. A dog shouldn't have to live on Pine Ridge. Hell, a dog couldn't find enough to eat living their with govt assistance.

Does 'native american' tell you anything?

Yes. It tells me that I live in a nation of PC asshats who refuse to accept the fact that these people LOST their entire claim to the land when they were not able to defend it from the European invaders; yet whom we refuse to force to join our culture or get the hell out of this country.
It is our country too, and was before white assholes like you came here.

This has nothing to do with the Sioux people....it's their history of inept and corrupt tribal leaders.. Even a Sioux should understand the canucks are going to send their crude oil to Houston with or without the Keystone XL. And even a Sioux should understand the difference in air pollution between hoses filling and offloading thousands of railroad tankers and sending the oil through a sealed pipeline.

God those poor people could really use the money.

I doubt that.

"The RST owns and operates Rosebud Casino, located on U.S. Route 83 just north of the Nebraska border. Nearby is a fuel plaza, featuring truck parking and a convenience store. Power for the casino is furnished in part by one of the nation's first tribally owned electricity-generating wind turbines. The tribe allows alcohol sales on the reservation, which enables it to keep the sales taxes and other revenues generated, as well as to police and regulate its use."

It seems to be a little hypocritical to me for the Rosebud tribe to protest the use of fossil fuels. They sell it at their fuel plaza and it takes a lot of fossil fuel to bring people to the casino to gamble and to stock the bar with booze, food etc.

on edit, perhaps US Route 83 should be closed and rerouted around the tribes land. Remember, you didn't build that! LOL

It may have been your property at one time, but we did a much better job of making your people bleed for it than you did of making us bleed for it. Hell, if you could go back in time and tell the Northeastern tribes to follow the same policy as the mid-atlantic tribes did with Roanoake, maybe you'd have had a shot of keeping your property to some degree with TWO decimated English settlements to use as examples. No, instead they taught the Pilgrims how to survive, and now your people are forced to live in shithole reservations.

The law says different. You will remember the next time something is stolen from you.

Law/Power emenates from the muzzle of a gun, which is exactly what anyone trying to steal from me is going to see.

Well I haven't been to Pine Ridge since the early 70s. Hopefully it's better.

Motherfuckers? Damn, that's crude even for trailer trash like you. BTW, how many oil pipelines are currently running through South Dakota?

Oh I could call envirowhackos far worse than motherfuckers. I have absolutely no respect for you lunatics on a good day because you really don't give a lick about the environment.

It's all politics 24/7. Sadly you take away time and resources away from worthy conservation issues.

I detest the likes of you with a passion you couldn't even dream of.

Here's South Dakota with a link.

South Dakota Pipelines
Approximately 6,500 miles of pipelines crisscross South Dakota, safely transporting natural gas, crude and other energy products every day to homes, businesses and to other parts of the country. Pipelines transport products that are part of our everyday life and contribute to South Dakota’s community tax base.

The South Dakota Public Utility Commission, through the Pipeline Safety program, inspects, regulates and enforces intrastate gas pipeline safety requirements.

The Office of Pipeline Safety (OPS), within the U. S. Department of Transportation, Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) inspects, regulates and enforces interstate gas pipeline safety requirements and both interstate and intrastate liquid pipeline safety requirements.
