Sandra Fluke Officially Working With Obama

This debate reminds me a lot of the "drug testing welfare recipients" debate. It feels right, "druggies shouldn't get welfare!", so people disreguard the cost to the government.

The cost to the government? Damn, bimbo, your thoughts on this remind me very much of my ass after a night of hard drinking.

Its ok to admit you don't care about the cost.

The cost of what? Allowing Americans to purchase health care coverage that does not include birth control ( for women only)? What cost is associated with that freedom that is so offensive to you OWS parasites?

Sit down before you read this, idiot. Of course, you won't really care, but it kind of proves what a fucking moron you are:

Florida didn't save money by drug testing welfare recipients, data shows - Tampa Bay Times

How stupid can you get....

Who here does not pay a dime towards their own health insurance? If I hel;p pay for my health insurance then I should get a say in what coverage I get, and women should have health care coverage for reproductive services....

Why should us women have to pay for vasectomies for men? It's not my vasectomy....but I still have to help pay for it....

Why should women have to pay for Viagra for men....? I don't get to take it, I don't get the hardon, I don't get the pleasure for some other guy's viagra?

Why should I have to pay for someone else's Diabetics medicine? I don't have the disease.....? Why should I pay for another woman's baby....I've never had a baby, why should my insurance costs include these?

I don't have heart trouble, why should I have to pay for someone elses heart attack?

blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah and blah....

What a bunch of bunk

This thread is about mandated birth control coverage ( for women only). She was using an analogy, dipshit.

Excellent questions, bimbo. And you do get a say in what services are covered under the insurance policy THAT YOU PURCHASE. Why should you not be allowed to buy a policy that does not cover vasectomies? My wife and I have no need for birth control. Why should we not be permitted to purchase coverage that does not include birth control?

If you don't need it, then don't ask for it. Do you REALLLLLLLLYYYYYYY think the cost of contraceptives is so high that it'll make your premiums skyrocket? Before you answer that, please know that any answer other than "No" means you're an idiot.

As I previously stated, contraception is readily available and very cheap. So, no, it does not mean that my premiums will skyrocket if covered, any more than your pocketbook will be much lighter if you have to purchase them yourself. The question is, why should I not have the right to purchase insurance that does not cover it, if I don't want it? Will permitting me the right to purchase a policy that meets my needs and does not include birth control coverage cause your premiums to go up significantly? Why are you OWS parasites so opposed to the idea of individuals having the right to make that determination for themselves?

Insurance doesn't work that way and it never has....we all individuals don't get to pick and choose willy nilly...

we contribute over $500...closer to $600 a month towards our health care, plus all the deductibles....for insurance for Matt and me, the employer picks up the rest.

for an individual policy for matt and me....
in Maine it costs over $24000 a year and that was 3 years ago when we priced it, who knows what it is now?

For the same reason you don't get to opt out of all the other things that its mandated insurance provide.

Ok, so your point is that, as a consumer, you should have some say in what your insurance covers. Does that only apply to you? Shouldn't I get the same say? Because I have absolutely no need for contraceptive coverage. Shouldn't I have the right to purchase coverage that does not cover it? Because that is exactly the right that obammy and his followers would like to remove.

And that reason is because obammy says so? That sounds right to you? Because prior to his arrival, I had the right to tailor my coverage to suit my needs.

So if the insurance carrier you have now decided to cover birth control for women just out of the kindness of their hearts, you'd switch providers? You're such an intellectually dishonest fucktard. Your CURRENT INSURANCE covers all kinds of shit you don't need, but you still pay for it.

Is it your assertion that, prior to 4 years ago, there was no mandated coverage of anything?

No. I could care less about the insignificant cost to me of birth control coverage. And that is so far from the point that I would be surprised, except that such shit is coming from the boards resident mongoloid.
My wife and I chose our insurance from a variety of plans. Due to coverage and premium differences. Why is it so important to you to force everybody to purchase birth control coverage( for women only)? You do realize that what you want is for other Americans to have less freedom? Why is that? What is your issue with coverage that does not include birth control?

Nope. That is not my assertion. My assertion is quite simple. So simple I would expect even you to understand it. Prior to obammy's rule, one was able to purchase insurance that did not cover birth control. Americans had that freedom. Obammy and his minions have stripped that freedom. And why, given that, as pointed out, birth control is readily accessible and affordable, would you seek to remove that liberty?

Question.

If you needed a blood transfusion, but your employeer refused to allow your insurance to cover it, would you still be saying "pay for it yourself!" ?

Or if your employeer were, say ... Muslim and you needed a surgery where they wanted to use a pig valve and your employeer refused to allow the insurance to cover that... Still ok with that?

If you don't like what is offered, shop around for your own insurance, or find another job if the employer is implacable. What no one has a "right" to do is force anyone else to subsidize their choices. Period.

All he did, was follow the advice of a panel of medical experts and add birth control to the list of other services that it's mandated insurance cover. I don't use all those services either, and yet I dont throw a hissy fit that I help pay for them.
