Can you prove that every shooting is not done with a stolen gun? The mass shootings reprsent a tiny number of shootings overall. They are not statistically significant.

Wrong...the majority of the 8,124 gun murders in this country are committed by criminals with criminal records which means they cannot legally own or carry the gun they are using to commit murder.

Mass shootings accounted for 9 deaths in 2014....criminals killed the rest.

Current background checks do not stop criminals or mass shooters.....new universal background checks will be avoided the same way as current background checks are avoided by criminals, or passed by mass shooters...

And spousal murder has nothing to do with guns.....drugs, alcohol, violent histories, criminal arrest record, that is what causes spousal murder, the tool is irrelavent....

A home without drug addiction, alcohol addiction, violent people, or people with criminal arrests....and guns.....do not experience spousal murder.

States have now made themselves dependent on cigarette tax revenue because of industry settlements.
But in fact smokers cost less than non smokers. Sure they have worse illnesses but they live shorter lives and those illnesses tend to be over quickly. There was a famous Czech study no one wants to quote that showed smokers benefitted the state more than non smokers.

If I go out and buy ten more guns, and you still have no gun, the gun ownership rate between the two of us is still 50%.
