3 days from shutdown, Senate passes stopgap spending bill

Now the House must decide if they want to fund the Government after October 1st or shut the Government down? I expect the House GOP will shut it down....again.

Isnt it interesting that the Democrats say that shutting down the government is going to hurt so many people and yet it's exactly what they want?

Hurting as many people as you can to obtain power is not a good principle to live by my friend.

It didn't in 96. The R's lost three or four seats in the house and gained two in the senate while retaining both congress and the senate.
