Medicaid only pays so much as you know. If they get cancer, they only qualify for so many necessary treatments. Either way, those costs are still enormous because of the capitalistic nature. The US spends more per capita than most developed nations do on healthcare.It seems bizarre this has to be explained so many times. The US's healthcare is top quality, but it is mostly unaffordable to the poor and in some cases the middle class.
You need only to explain the quality to Fenton. Low-income workers, as you know, qualify for Medicaid. The middle-income worker can afford health insurance IF THAT is a priority. One of the main reasons for the massive failure of Obamacare is that far too few young, healthy people wanted health insurance choosing instead to pay the fine.
And those other nations...their healthcare systems are collapsing......they can't afford the crappy care they get...the waste, fraud, abuse, and lack of caring by the medical professionals is reaching critical levels.......
