Denmark, Norway and Sweden are at the top of the UN’s annual World Happiness Report, year after year. Also, these countries have the least crime rates in the world.

Now, Is it a frigging coincidence that these countries have some of the highest percentage of atheists and non religious people in the world?

There's more. These countries, whose population comprises mostly of non believers, the kind who don't believe in Karma, after life, heaven or hell, are the most charitable. They donate more than anyone else in the world (As percentage of their GDP).

Without praying 5 times a day or every Sunday, without bothering about auspicious time, homa and yajna, these countries have the highest number of Nobel laureates per million of population.

Maybe, just maybe, God and Religion are the things that are holding back the majority of nations.

All three are in the top 10 happiest in the world. So...back to my OP...

They all have higher suicide rates than the miserable Americans.

500 sq ft studio apartment is close to a million in Sweden and Denmark. Suicide rates I believe are due to the fact there is not much to live for there. Government tells you what to do and when to do it, no chance of financial success, it's working that job at the café the rest of your life then a fixed government subsidy for your retirement in a state run retirement home.

How do their suicide rates rank with the rest of the world? Huh, look at that. They have a higher suicide rate than almost anywhere else. Seems to me if they were so happy they wouldn't be killing themselves so frequently. Maybe those ratings are just propagandist crap...
