As I promised Nosmo King , I would acknowledge if the Washington DC protest did not become a violent event. So far today it appears that it has not and good for those attending the gathering. When I was in elementary school, we had a contest to see who could throw a softball the farthest. After beating every kid in the school, the teachers decided to put me up against the adults.
The only person who could beat me was a 27 year old guy.....and it wasn’t by much.

Getting smacked upside the head by a rock is going to do some damage. Having a bunch of kids throwing rocks increases the chances of one hitting the mark.
In most scenarios, it’s certainly better than doing nothing.

Having an armed teacher, and a bucket of rocks, is better than having only one or the other.
