Sounds Like Trump Committed Obstruction

Hundreds of former Justice officials assert Trump would be facing felony charges if he were not President - CNNPolitics

Hundreds of former Justice Department officials said in an open letter released Monday
that President Donald Trump would be facing multiple felony charges stemming from the Russia investigation if he were not President.

The letter posted online by Justice Department alumni, who served under presidents from both parties, said the report from special counsel Robert Mueller contained repeated instances of Trump committing obstruction of justice, and that he would have been charged with obstruction if he was not protected as President by an opinion from the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel that Mueller cited.

I guess Trump will call this 'fake nuwz' ............ LOFL

Nothing fake about it.

Mueller found no collusion or conspiracy with Russia and could not conclude that Obstruction had been committed.
That's the official report and the end of the story.

That it is but the boneheaded Dems just can't accept that Mueller's report didn't say what they hoped and prayed it would.

Now they are holding investigation after investigation and hearing after hearing grasping at any straw they can grab still trying to hang Trump.

What wonderful people. They are paving the way to a Trump win in 2020.

God bless them every one.
So far, 566 former prosecutors from both political parties have signed on to a formal letter that they believe Trump probably should be charged with felony obstruction of justice. Perhaps Mueller's report did in fact answer questions for Democrats.

The only one that matters is Mueller's report which exonerates Trump and his campaign.

Those 566 are giving their opinion. Nothing legal about it.

They should light a fucking candle along with the rest of the lefty loons and move on.

Once again Nutty Natty pretends he's researched these alleged "signers" - even though the authors of the Fake News did not. Surprise: Most of them aren't even real names of real people. ROFLMAO.

True, true........most of those signers are really illegal aliens from Nicaragua and Honduras.......Yep........your "brilliant" defense is helping to expose our evil plot....LOL

300+ attorneys say they think Trump obstructed justice

Bipartisan support that includes one career prosecutor who worked with Rudy Giuliani says the Rudy he knew would not have hesitated to charge Trump based on the evidence Mueller has supplied.

Trump's actions today confirm he is still actively obstructing justice, and provides ample evidence he will do little to prevent his "Fancy Bear" buddies from helping in 2020.

Fmr. CIA official: American freedom requires Trump impeachment

Oh please do it. GO FOR IT

Less than 30% of the American population wants impeachment. So DO IT
FT_Nixon.png

I laughed right out loud.

Take that gamble. DO IT

1. OK so impeach Trump and stop whining.
2. But for the illegal investigation Trump wouldn't have been wrongly accused of wrongdoing.
3. What's the take-away? It doesn't fucking matter. The deep state criminals will go to prison, and Trump will get a 2nd term.
4. Is that poetic justice or not?

No need...

We aren't like Trump's 'Lock Her Up' idiots....

Everyone knows you need a two-thirds vote, 67 votes, would have been necessary to convict and remove the President from office. that would mean that you would need a 40% of the GOP to convict Trump... Out GOP friends a spineless and won't vote against Trump if he did shoot someone on 5th ave. Every excuse will be used.

Pelosi is playing this right... It is GOP decision to keep Trump in power and the more that is dug up the more GOP is going to have to defend against the indefensible... They get a simple choice, loose the primary or loose the election... Trump has done a good job at turning the GOP into rapid devotees or approvers by silence.

Dems should just keep on turning up the pressure... Keep the investigations going... I hope Trump keeps fighting the taxes, they would be due to released next year during election season...

Can I make this clear to our Trumpsters.

Collusion is not a crime thus you can't be found guilty of it, you can't be charged with it...

Obstruction of Justice is a crime. Mueller made it clear that he can't indict a president as per DOJ policies, but he did show very clear evidence of the Trump Campaign and Trump himself obstructing justice.

Barr has clearly misled congress at a minimum. He might have danced around the perjury charge but his job is becoming more untenable.

Former.

Because they are now out-of-work Obamabots!

Above, is why Trump once stated that he loves the poorly educated and ignorant voters....

Fuckhead, MOST of those prosecutors are RETIRED law enforcement officers and many of them are staunch republicans....NOT Trump cult members. .....LMAO at this idiot's stupidity
Really? Can you name any Republicans? The article doesn't actually say any of them are Republicans. It says they "served" Republicans. The fact is they are all Democrats.
How do you know all the signatories are Democrats as a "fact"? Do you have access to a list of signatories or is your silly claim just more of your misinformation nonsense?
I know no one can produce the name of a single honest Republican. That's all I need to know.
First, you said there were no Republicans. You claimed it as a fact. Now you concede your "fact" was nonsense, you back peddle and change your claim to all the Republican who signed are dishonest.

The 2/3rds Senate vote is not the issue.

Congress needs to respond to it's Constitutional authority, commence the impeachment proceeding, and let the vote fall where it may. It is about the principle of the matter.

Even without a 2/3rds Senate vote the proceeding would send an undeniable message that any POTUS will be held to account for 'felony' level criminal activity, which obstruction of the justice process is just that.

No POTUS should be above the law; Trump included.

Not as simple as that bucko, there are political implications. The report showed that Trump and those around him lied to the American people time and time again about meeting with Russians. It also showed possible illegal activity by Trump with how he tried to intervene with the investigation. Do you deny either of those things? If so what and why??

Trump is going to be the first President to go down for lying?? You people bet the farm on Collusion and now are trying desperately to recover by calling obstruction at every angle and going after taxes. As for impeachment, I defy the Democrats to proceed. They have already calculated that and deemed it too risky for them.

You claimed your assertion to be a fact. Now you are admitting it is only your speculation and opinion based on your partisan imagination or tendency to just make things up as you go. Sort of a form of lying.
What assertion? It's a fact that no one has named anyone but Weld to sign this piece of shit who is a Republican. That isn't speculation.

Clinton Committed perjury. Andrew Johnson violated the Tenure of Office act.

What crime specifically did Trump commit?

Since Trump is a setting president, the House of Representatives has the authority and power to impeach Trump. Go ahead.......Do it!

Why should they?

If the Senate cared more about the country then Trump - then I would agree with you.

But since they obviously do not - and will not impeach him no matter what he does - why should the Dems in the House bother?

Hahaha...you ignorant, desperate pukes are fucking hilarious...please stop making complete asses of yourselves.
