Just because someone is knowledgeable in his chosen field does not mean he's comprehensively knowledgeable concerning matters of public policy and governance; Carson knows little about sound public policy and governance, and is wrong on most - if not all - the issues.

This reminds me on when Bush won the Presidency and began surrounding himself with the smartest men out there regarding each issue (which is also what Trump says he will do). Moronic Liberals immediately began attacking and mocking Bush for doing so, claiming 'he must be stupid if he has to surround himself with such brilliant people'.

The very incredible IDIOCY of such thinking is enough to astound anyone! No one can be an expert on everything, which is why you surround yourself with experts. Who the hell WOULDN'T want to do that as President? Oh yeah, that would be Obama, who immediately filled their cabinets with Socialist 'Czars', cronies, and Tax Cheats! Ben Carson has an interview yesterday and the lack of knowledge over something as basic as the debt limit is unsettling. His excerpted interview with Ken Ryssdal of American public Radio's "Marketplace" is below:

Ryssdal: I'm gonna try one more time, sir. This is debt that's already obligated. Would you not favor increasing the debt limit to pay the debts already incurred?

Kai hits the nail on the head! This is something I have pointed out numerous times on this forum. The debt ceiling bullshit is theater for the rubes.

Long before the day the Republicans pretend to be all upset over the debt ceiling having to be raised, they ALLOCATED THAT SPENDING WHICH CAUSED THE DEBT CEILING TO BE EXCEEDED.

Carson demonstrates that most people have no clue this is the case. That's exactly why I call it theater for the rubes.

As long as the rubes remain clueless, they will continue to believe only the Democrats are big spenders because that is what the big spending Republicans tell them to believe.
