State Religion: You cannot dirty the pride flag that is painted on a street without being arrested

Correct its job is to prevent bigots from vandalizing public property and it’s doing a good job in this case:. The government’s job is to defend the freedom of its citizens to live and love who they want regardless of the feelings of people who want to restrict loving adults from a consenting relationship. Agian it’s doing a good job in this case/.
The painting on the asphalt represents resources spent. The effect on vehicles and pedestrians is a potential as it could be slippery. The key is that many localities struggle with keeping the streets in good condition. We spend resources for political reasons over necessities at times. Arguing over streets where in some Prog areas you can legally defecate on them.

Private citizens didn’t paint the intersection the government did. So in a word. No
Actually many private civic organization do these things thinking it’s public service project. They get permission from the city though.

The Pride flag is such a religious emblem that the United States leftist government arm is aggressively seeking out minor, local offenses and throwing the book at these "heretics".

1. Dylan Brewer, 19, revved his engine and produced skid marks on a street. Normally, that's nothing or at the least a minor ticket. However, he did it on a pride-painted intersection, so he got a FELONY (yes you read that correctly)... a FELONY... "Criminal Mischief" and "damage to property over $1000" (it costs more than a grand to paint a street?), and "reckless misdemeanor while driving".

2. 3 teenagers were arrested and charged with a FELONY for leaving SCOOTER MARKS (yes... scooter marks) on a pride flag-painted street in Spokane WA.

So if you burn out and produce skid marks on any street, you get a ticket at most. However, if you do it on a sacred Pride flag... it's a felony???

This is a state religion. Thou shalt not deface the state religious symbol.

Here's a tip.. if you don't want skid marks on a flag, don't paint it on a street. Wheels go on streets. Wheels cause marks. It's insane, but yet happening in 2024. Leftism is a growing pride cult.
Or maybe you and these people can grow the fuck up.

Keep your hands to yourself and respect other people’s property isn’t that hard, unless you’re a closed minded bigot
A public street is not "other people's property", it's everyone's property, including the people driving on it.

It’s not “other people’s property” though. It’s public property just like the street that doesn’t have anything painted on it. To the state defacing the double yellow line should be the same as anything else painted on the street
In fact, those painting the flag on the street defaced the property that other people paid taxes to put down to be driven on.

Ain’t that something? You can deface statues, you can actually burn the American flag…but you can’t deface the pride flag..that’s a bridge too far..

Ok then you should expect a certain level of safety while driving and having someone do burnouts is a public danger. Do it on top of a piece of art the city funded and you got multiple crimes happening at once that need to be punished

It's been stated that doing burnouts gets you a ticket, NOT a felony. Paint stuff on the road and it gets dirty. Paint it on the side of a building, different story. People aren't walking and driving on it. Heck, the way some blue cities are run, you should expect someone to take a dump on it.

And the city is wrong for allowing it. Unless it’s going to let everyone paint whatever political messaging on the street they want. Or they can allow people to deface the painting as part of the political back and forth. Personally I think they should not allow any of it to avoid the inevitable confrontation things like this invariably cause.

I guess other people don't care to have their art trampled and driven over.
How much would you like to bet if a pro life organization wanted to paint something on the street it wouldn’t allowed.

Oh and tbe same people on here saying that everyone should keep their hands to themselves would be calling for the defacing the “art” and for it to be disallowed in the future.

Oh, absolutely, or any political message they didn't approve of. Heck, let somebody paint the name "TRUMP!" on the street and they'd be screaming bloody murder, begging somebody to burn out on it.

Getting dirty from normal use and having a asshole international vandalize it are very separate issues

Again. Why should doing a burnout on a regular crosswalk garner less of a punishment than doing it on a pride flag crosswalk?
Let’s see one is a regular crosswalk the other is commissioned piece of art by the city, I mean an apple and an orange are the same thing if they both grow on a tree right?
