Televangelist Jim Bakker: Impeach Trump, Christians Will Start A Second Civil War

The manufacturing plant grew in size and had to add a new switchboard which had GFI which I think is a misnomer and should be called GFII, ground fault indicator and interrupter. Lots of problems with the manufacturer of the GFII so I removed it and found a poorly soldered wire. Re-soldered and then it worked perfectly.
Are you going to answer the question?

I thought I did answer the question but the question is vague and without specifics. I can't give an intelligent answer with insufficient data.

The Electoral College is essential. Small states like Nevada would not feel like a participant in elections if every President was decided by Los Angeles, Chicago and New York City.

Actually that's nonsense.

The smaller states get nothing.

bbstates_custom-e0c6c871e5a185100d0be94271fba73c0a365998-s4.jpg

Look at ad spending per state.

In terms of number of people in the state.
Florida is number 3 out of 50 states
North Carolina is 9
Virginia is 12
Ohio is 7
Pennsylvania is 6
New Hampshire is 41
Minnesota is 22
Wisconsin is 20
Iowa is 30
Minnesota is 22
Colorado is 21
Nevada is 34

So, you have 12 states where almost all the spending on ads go. Of those 12 only 3 are in the bottom 25. The lowest is New Hampshire.

Wyoming. Nothing
Vermont. Nothing
Alaska. Nothing
North Dakota. Nothing
South Dakota. Nothing

And yet you claim the Electoral college is essential because it gives these states more of a say. But it doesn't. These states are meaning less. There are 12 states that decide the election.

With proportional representation there would be more political parties (I think 5 is the lowest I've ever seen in a country with PR) and these parties would represent the different views. So Wyoming as a small rural state would have a party that actually gives a flying fuck about the people in Wyoming. Right now it doesn't happen.

So, your view is plain wrong, probably because you've never even bothered to look up the facts.

Yes, without the electoral college, politicians running for office would spend all their time in the big population centers, ignoring the majority of Americans who are spread out.

Another benefit of the electoral college is when California allows potentially millions of illegal immigrants to vote, California can't steal the election from the whole country.

When someone says Trump lost the popular vote, that vote wasn't his goal. If he were trying for the popular vote, he would have spent a lot of time in California telling Californians that they're great.

Actually it's nonsense, again

With PR it is proven there are more parties than in FPTP. The minimum is 5 I think that I have seen.

What happens is you have parties who represent those people in smaller states, like farmers, you have parties who represent those in other places. They give people more choice.

Basically people push this nonsense that it would lead to just large populations to scare people into thinking something that is not only not true, but the people who are saying it are deliberately misleading people.

The majority of people are born stupid and minority born smart. Blame the bell curve and where you set the center point.

It seems rather that this is a matter of willful ignorance rather than stupidity.

I was shocked when I saw the thread title,

mostly because I had no idea Jim Bakker was still alive.

The question wasn't vague, it was very specific. Check out Article 230-95, when you get the chance.

Conservatives forget the only reason the Big Orange Idiot is president is due to the archaic system of the Electoral College. Big Orange LOST the popular vote by nearly 3 million votes. He has no mandate from the people, and so far, has shown he represents the principles of only a small percentage of the American population.

The Big Orange Idiot’s 34% approval rating, coupled with his 61% disapproval rating are strong indicators that Bakker’s prediction, threat, wet dream, or whatever it is, is total bullsh!t.

If the “Christians” do begin shooting, what do they expect will happen? That police forces will join them? Not likely. Who will be their first targets? People of color? That will be considered murder, not “legitimate” war.

The congressional Republicans, should they decide to both, impeach and take the necessary legal actions to remove Big Orange from office, will have the support of a far larger percentage of the American people than the “Christian" insurrectionists.

Jim Bakker might speak for a handful of Nazis, but most members of Nazi groups are much too cowardly to actually take up arms against the U.S. military or local police forces.

Conservatives, especially those “Christians” Bakker believes will rebel if Big Orange is kicked out, have forgotten the results of the silly shenanigans of the Cliven Bundy family and friends in Nevada and Oregon. (One dead- eight in jail, and the first to be convicted, Gregory Burleson sentenced to 68 years in prison.)

To get a successful rebellion up and running here in the U.S., the “Christians” will need substantial financing. Where are they going to find the billionaire sugar-daddies they will need? The Koch Bros.? Sheldon Adelson? Foster Friess? Who?

Before you lunatics start shooting, you’d better get your sh!t together. First, get the money you will need (multi-billions of $). Then hire a few military strategists, buy and distribute all of the equipment and ordnance you’re going to need for a protracted war. Establish training camps, you don’t want a bunch of amateurs making fools out of your armies. And DO NOT rely on the Nazi militias running around the U.S. Most members don’t have the fighting ability they claim, and will let you down immediately when the going gets rough.

Conservative Christians are terrified of the cultural diversity in the U.S. They have been terrified since this country was founded. Conservatives fought the Civil War only to maintain the status quo of the time.

But, they lost that war, and the changes that followed were too much for the conservatives to handle, and are to this day.

Conservatives have decided, Nazism and the hatred (and if possible, the destruction) of everyone unlike themselves is the ticket back to the good old days. The conservatives' are convinced their final solution is at hand with the Big Orange Idiot in the White House.

.

Wrong. She won California by 3 to 4 million and lost the popular in the other 49 states cumulative. Your numbers are skewed.
