Their three leading people to take on Trump refuse to split the party. That is bad news for democrats looking for a split race. They are NOT going to get one. So as bad as the current dog fight looks TOP dog WILL be the nom.

And given the "elite" HATE Cruz damn near as much as Trump they have no where to turn. Romney has already said he will NOT run. So how do the "elite" broker a nomination when NONE of the runners agree to it?

Ya CAN'T, which means its hit the showers time for the "elite".
You liberals counting on Rubio?
"Senator Rubio said he would back Trump because the Democratic alternative would be either a socialist (Sen. Bernie Sanders (I) of Vermont) or someone under FBI investigation (Hillary Clinton)."

He HATES Trump but WILL back him. DAMN that has to smart!
But hey there is always Cruz right?
"Senator Cruz said he would back Trump because earlier in the campaign he’d given his word that he would."

And the "elite" HATE Cruz anyway so his sticking a boot in their ass does NOT bother him. So you liberals got one hope left. Gov. "K".
"Governor Kasich talked around the issue for a bit and then said “yes” to Trump too."

The "elites" are OUT at this point. What they are yelling about is as phony as the WWE. Because if the other three AGREE to support the nom the question of broker is over. And IF they are stupid enough to try and broker who do they turn to? Romney and piss the WHOLE party off?

Congrats my fellow Republicans, WE have OUR party back. And WE have control.
Should Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz say they won't vote for Donald Trump?

Romney/McCain just get the heck out. Enough already. Remember Romney going on and on and on about the stupid Olympics? So what Whitey, you get snow in Provo, real hard job. Or Milk-Toast McCain on and on about not bashing Muslims or Obama, enough already. Go strap up a dog at NASCAR

I'll call it a good start.
But i'm not so sure the dirty tricks are over just yet.
I don't think the dirty tricks are over. Hell they may get worse, but if they stick to their guns on supporting the nom the "elite" is out.

The 15th will be the big day! Who ever that can win Florida and ohio will be the Candidate. It is easier for Trump as Florida is part of Trump country and Ohio is on the edge of trump country...But has a popular governor! So as of now Trump needs 54% of the rest of the delegates to get to 1237 or Cruz 59.5% of the remaining delegates to get the same. This is a lot easier for Trump. I'd bet money on Trump if I was betting.

Your numbers are not entirely right. See someone like "K" could at the convention pledge his delegates to Trump as well. If anybody is playing for the number 2 slot "K" is.

The Republicans fear Trump much more than they hate him. Trump is a business man and not a corporatist and because he's super rich the same people who by the other Republicans can't by Trump.

They see Trump as a loose cannon and he is.

They see Trump as a RINO and he is.

They see Trump as a threat to Wall Street and the banksters and he is.

They see Trump as someone who will stop cheap illegal labor and he may.

They see Trump as someone who might kill the Islamic boogeymen.

They see Trump who will stop american companies from off shoring American jobs by putting tariffs on those goods.

They see Trump as someone who is a pragmatist who will work with the opposition like Reagan and Clinton did.

They see a Trump presidency as an end to the Republican party as we know it and a return the the party of Progressives like Teddy Roosevelt and William Howard Taft.

The Trump/Roosevelt comparison is apt. The establishment put Teddy in the VP slot to get rid of him. Oops!
