The GOP won the biggest mid term election in modern history...

...in the lowest voter turnout in modern history. And a lot more seats changed hands in 2006 than 2014.

In 2006, the Democrats gained 31 seats in the House. In 2014, the GOP gained 13. Though the Democrats only gained 6 Senate seats in 2006 while the GOP gained 9 seats in 2014.

When are democrats going to stop playing the "voter turnout" game that Barry Hussein whined about? The end result is the same when more republicans turn out than democrats in a low turnout election.

Bipartisan system seems to be pretty stable and to some degree efficient. Without one major party though how are we supposed to make important political choices and shape the future of our nation in a competitive way? Pluralism of opinions and political stances shaped America as we know it. What would be the stimulus for Democratic party in a one-party state?
In the end the demolition of American conservatism is going to undermine the whole country.

No... The GOP isn't dying off.

Of course, as with all systems based upon sound principle, it is being replaced with soundly principled young Republicans.

Now in my little neck of the Republican wood... my Three Children are Republicans... my son in law... Republican. One of my oldest son's is the head of the California Young Republicans and despite the terrible infection of communism that is killing California, there are still millions of fine Americans living there, some of whom still have no plans to leave, albeit, that number continues to shrink and for good reason.

But the GOP is in fact, NOT DYING off... and the crop of Republicans are a fiercely conservative people and they've no intentions of letting the Left steal their means to feed themselves, and live a happy, prosperous life.

The rumors of my demise are greatly exaggerated.

In 2008 MSNBC boasted numerous polls and stories proclaiming the death of the Republican party. The idea that people vote completely based on their race, ethnicity--and that the Democrat Party has all the solutions and will reign supreme for here on after--it is an exquisite mix of naivete and narcissism.

The left waits with bated breath for the demise of the GOP, proclaiming it inevitable. That limited government, fiscal responsibility, low taxes--those are racist concepts that no brown people could ever care about. The irony is, they are stereotyping all Hispanics, blacks, etc. based on their own racist belief that minorities are monolithic and incapable of diverse political ideas.

Perhaps you don't know how new elected representatives are are made, but they don't get kicked out of office and a younger version replaces them. If that is the case, why are Democrats that retake seats previously lost routinely in their late 60's.

This makes me think of my favorite fossil politician, the KKK-recruiting, Civil Rights Act filibustering (WITH AL GORE'S FATHER), racist POS who remained the Democrat's darling even after saying "******" on national television in 2001. The DNC wheeled his ass in on life support to vote.

We begin on May 16th with the Washington Post. The GOP has such a big field of candidates, party leaders are “anxious about their chances in ’16.” That’s the actual title. It seems having such a deep field is a bad thing, unlike last time when having such a shallow field was a bad thing.

If only the GOP would coronate one candidate, just like the Democrats.

Keeping up the theme, the New York Times on the same day,claimed the GOP was baiting the leftto turn on Hillary. The Democrats, you see, are so united for Hillary that the GOP is forced to spend money to try to drum up a primary for Hillary Clinton.
