So yes, when Trump loses the House, by 6 million votes, that's absolutely a refusal by the public to allow Trump an unfettered hand in goverance. Add to that, 7 Governors' mansions, and 6 state Houses shows that Americans across the nation are rejecting the political lies of the Republican Party in general.

Republican policies have not delivered on promises of a better life for working people. In fact, they're destroying that illusion, and nothing is shaming the Republican government more than the spectre that middle class federal employees are one pay check away from the food bank. Daily interviews with federal employees who are rationing food and insulin because of the lack of a pay check are adding to the storyline that the Republican Party in general, and Donald Trump in particular, is totally insensitive to the damage they're doing to the economy, and the appearance that they just don't care about everyday Americans.

Trump asking landlords and mortgage companies to withhold legal action against federal employees on account of the shutdown, doesn't mean that these people won't have to catch up the payments later, and those workers who aren't being paid for the shutdown period are going to be in a world of hurt.

Yeah Melania. Fly away to Florida on vacation using a government plane staffed by employees who aren't being paid. Let them eat cake!

There are more people flocking to the cities than there are moving to the country. Family farms are disappearing as corporate agriculture takes over. Fewer and fewer people live in rural communities.

Trump didn't throw out an opening offer. He threw out a take it or leave it ultimatum. Mitch McConnell is bring the Bill to the floor of the Senate for a vote, with no meetings, no negotiations, studies and no discussions.

He should NEGOTIATE. Negotiatiating means LISTENING to what the other side is offering. Trump has yet to listen to Democrats, or even sit down in the same room and discussiong it with them. As soon as Nancy said "No Wall" he walked out and hasn't spoke to Democratic leadership since.

Trump threw out a giant "fuck you" without realizing that the ones he is fucking, are the American people.

The Senate passes a bill and it goes to the House where they either pass it or alter and send it back...that is where the negotiations take place.
