The One Question No One So Far Can Answer

I think he meant, very simply, that everything is politicized during a campaign, so it isn't the most appropriate time to be engaging with an actor as controversial as Russia. You really don't understand that? Common sense man.

Every president is more "flexible" when he no longer faces re-election.

Yeah, after a crime has been committed, an investigation provides a suspect and the evidence against that suspect is presented to them. You don't even know if a crime exist at this point.

.

You asked what law was broken, not what crime as committed. Crimes are general, laws are specific.

If a crime hasn't occurred then no law is broken, no reason for an investigation. How about you call your local police dept and tell them you're sure someone was in your house. They will ask you a series of questions.

Are any doors or windows damaged? You say, no.
Did you leave anything unlocked? You say, no.
Is there anything missing? You say, no.
Is there anything out of place? You say, no.
Do you have any surveillance footage of someone in your house? You say, no.
What makes you think someone was in your house? You say, I just have this feeling.

Check you watch and count the seconds before they start laughing and hang up on you.

That's all you got in this case. LMAO FEELINGS!

Yet that's exactly what happened when Trump claimed Obama wiretapped the phones in Trump Tower.

Despite completely unproven accusations by Trump, democrats welcomed a full investigation of the claim.

Right, except he had news paper accounts of conversations that occurred there. That's called evidence of a crime, not a feeling like you regressives have.

That's what you get when you call up criminals, terrorists, or others subject to FISA and criminal wiretaps. Hint - if you dial 911, your phone is being recorded. Obama isn't wiretaping your house.

As far as this Thursday 05/18/2017 this investigation has turned into a CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION.

"Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham on Thursday said it’s clear that after Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein briefed the Senate on the investigation into Russian involvement in the presidential election that it has become a criminal probe.

“The shock to the body is that this is now a criminal investigation,” Graham (R-SC) told reporters moments after he exited the Senate chamber.

He said now that it has become a criminal investigation instead of an counterintelligence probe Congress may be impeded in carrying out its own examinations.

“You’ve got a special counsel who has prosecutorial powers now, and I think we in Congress have to be very careful not to interfere,” Graham said. “Public access to this is probably going to be very limited now. It’s going to really limit what the public will know about this.”

Trump claimed somebody at the IRS illegally released his 1995 federal tax records. Again, an accusation of a crime that didn't happen, with perfectly legal explanations of how both the recorded conversations and released tax records occurred.

Yeah, the maobama regime and hold overs breaking espionage laws. How hard are you going to cry when their identities are revealed and they're prosecuted.

Looks like firing Comey may now qualify as obstruction of justice. Which requires interference with a pending judicial mater, and not just an investigation. Looks like this is going to go the distance.

I don't defend criminals. If they released classified material, they have to pay the piper. In fact, anyone who gives classified material to our enemies should face even harsher treatment.

Classified documents garnered under a FISA warrant can't be released legally unless they are declassified. So there is no legal explanation for the conversations being released.

Intelligence information we get from our allies under intelligence sharing can't be released legally unless they are declassified first. So there is no legal explanation for Trump telling the Russians the ISIS covert operative information.

Declassification is a formal process where the originating agency is informed about the change in status, so they can take measures to protect their assets. Not just blurted out like Trump did to the Russians.

Except Trump never declassified the information. Trump just blurted it out to his russian pals.

Nice to see you have a little bit of integrity.

If in fact that happened, everyone in the room said it didn't, Trump is the only person that could do that without breaking any law. But hey let's not let little things like facts get in the way of good propaganda, RIGHT?

Yeah this investigation is really traveling at the speed of light in comparison to Watergate.

Robert Mueller has been delivered a lot of information already, and I am not certain what else they're looking for. A tactical part of the Treasury Department is now looking into shell corporations and money laundering--so it looks to me like they're looking for motive right now.
‘If I was involved, I’d be nervous’: Treasury Department’s Financial Crimes division looking at Trump associates

As far as what I have seen-over these last many months--it appears they have plenty of evidence to string several of them up right now.

General Flynn may be talking--and giving up a lot of information. He's on the burner right now, and he has got a lot to lose. The Senate denied him immunity from prosecution--but Robert Mueller may look at him a little differently.

If in fact that happened, everyone in the room said it didn't,

.

Their statement was that Trump didn't reveal 'sources and methods', not that Trump didn't give the Russians classified intelligence. The Russians have a long history of being able to reverse engineer things they acquire. Including classified information.
