The Racist Backlash Against Obama Is What Brought Us Trump

Trump isn't anything new. History has a long line of rightwing populists who blame all of their followers' problems on 'the Others',

Those others being any groups of people that are socially, racially, culturally different than you, the Trump follower.
That works fine with me asshole.
The US was settled by Whites. It belongs to Whites. It's going to stay belonging to Whites. Trump will close the Mexican border and he will stop the flood of Muslims. He will stamp out the negro thugs.
After eight years there will not be anywhere in the country you can't walk day or night without fearing for your safety.

"...Oh danny boy, the KKK is calling...."

".....Oh NY boy, the Nazi party is calling......" They support your ideas about blocking free speech and sending thugs to disrupt any gathering that does not support their chosen candidates.

Uhm, maybe it's just me, but that's a bit much.
I was exaggerating for effect as far as America being settled by and belonging to Whites alone.
The rest I hope will happen.

It’s not just anger over jobs and immigration. White voters hope Trump will restore the racial hierarchy upended by Barack Obama.

For Americans opposed to Trump, it’s tempting to believe that his base is a shrinking part of America; that these are the death throes of racial reaction. Eventually, goes the thinking, they’ll fade from view too.

That is wishful thinking. America is a diverse country. But it’s still a predominantly white one, where a Trumpist movement can still encompass millions of voters. And “eventually” might be a while. In the space between now and then, Trumpism—the potent mix of open prejudice, nationalist aggression, and heterodox economic policy—could thrive. In fact, it likely will, since the trends that produced Trump—a brittle economy, an ailing white working-class, an insecure white middle-class, a rising nonwhite population, political gridlock, and growing minority political power—are ongoing.

Given the more than uphill climb he would face in a general election, Trump the person might have an expiration date. But Trumpism will enter the firmament of modern politics, a powerful current that will shape the future of the Republican Party, and the Democratic one too. Trump came on the stage as a clown. But whenever he leaves, he’ll do it as a new icon of a familiar movement in American life.

Much More: The Racist Backlash Against Obama Is What Brought Us Trump

Trump climbed on the racist bandwagon early on when he started his Obama birtherism and otherness. He recognized there was a strong market for it - and he was right.
Race-card alert.

I think people were worried about the direction Obama was taking this country, but if it weren't for Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, and riots in Baltimore, and Ferguson, and the attacks by Blacklivesmatter on cops, Trump wouldn't be doing as well.

It's clear that this country is going down the tubes. It's clear nobody in Washington can or will do anything to change that. It's clear that the only person running that believes we deserve border security and control of those borders is Trump.

I don't agree with Trump on some things, but I know he's not going to sell us out to our enemies.

What a Whinging Load of Blather.

The backlash against Obama is because his Big Government policies are crushing our economy and therefore the lives and prospects of millions of Americans, and because his Anti-American Appeasement has enabled terrorism.

And this is how they respond to the facts about Obama, the greatest failure in American presidential history:

You are the most overt, obnoxious racist on this board. And, like many other leftist racists, you peddle your racism under the guise of attacking alleged white racism.

Not only are you a racist, but you have made it quite clear that you are also anti-Semitic.
Most of these leftists are anti-Semites. It's truly astonishing.
And yet the top left wing intellectuals are all Jewish...

.... but the left doesn't support Israel. That in itself is a contradiction if I ever saw one.

Adolf Trump is drawing all the white racists out of the woodwork. They have a new hero to believe in.

How Trump Is Inspiring A New Generation Of White Nationalists

I love how democrats always refer to those who don't share in the liberal view of what the role of government "should be", as racist. You could actually refer to it in the same context as the boy who cried wolf, if they hadn't already beaten it to death.
"Liberal" is just a euphemism for "government worshiping, lying douche bag."

When was "racial hierarchy upended by Obama"? I must have missed it. Blacks are still on the democrat plantation and lefties continue to insult Black people by claiming that they are unable to obtain something as basic as a photo I.D. in the 21st century. Other than that the only thing Americans noticed was an increase in Cop killings and more racial tension.

I know. That's why it's so perplexing that you share the same views as people who hate you.

Oh look....ANOTHER liberal thread suggesting the only reason people oppose Obama is because they're all 'racists'.

From here on out, anyone who suggests this Constitution / Rule of law-violating, Islamic Extremist-sympathizing, Mexican Drug Cartel / terrorist-arming, pro-illegal immigration failed president is not supported by someone because that person is 'racist', the person implying that will be from then on be ignored as a completely ignorant partisal liberal...IMO.

If the only reason someone disagrees with Obama is they are a 'racist', then the same applies to liberals and their hatred for Bush...no matter what they claim (since liberals claim that's the way it works in regards to Obama and Conservatives).
