I could be wrong...but it seems to me that you and the others' argument is a semantic one. While I agree with you that we are free to choose who we date, who we sleep with, who we enter into relationships with, etc. and from that standpoint - a man who is attracted to other men can choose not to engage with them in sexual ways....

I can't agree with you that we can choose who we are attracted to. Attraction is a biological reality - phermones and other hormones and chemicals play just as large a role (some scientists would argue a BIGGER ROLE) than any sort of "personal choice."

If a man is genuinely attracted to another man he can certainly choose not to ACT on that attraction...but to imply that he can choose not to FEEL that attraction is inconsistent with what we know scientifically about attraction.

Though Polygamy was solely for moral. Pedophilia and bestiality not only had a moral & health reason, they also had a consent reason.
