The ultimate guide to the Biden laptop - 630 pages. 2,020 footnotes. 459 fully-documented crimes

The question reads “Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?” I think that's pretty straight-forward, don't you?

Are they asking about at the time you are signing the document or at any time in your life?

The penalty for inaccurately answering that drug question would be revocation of your gun permit

Nobody goes to prison

You know nothing about gun laws. There is no "gun permit" required to own a firearm. The federal government does not issue "permits." There are permits each state can issue to allow an individual to carry a concealed firearm.

When a drug user such as Hunter Biden commits a firearms felony, he or she forfeits their right to even own a firearm.

At the time the firearm was purchased. The evidence on the laptop shows that Hunter Biden's drug use and firearm possession were concurrent. But even then, whether or not he purchased it before his little drug problem, is irrelevant. He was in possession of the pistol during the time he was addicted to crack cocaine, which is also a felony.

Yeah. I suppose it would upset him, being in prison and all. As it would his father.

Sorry but you will have to do much more to justify a prison sentence
Where are all the other charges coming from the laptop evidence?

There must be more

We are.... it was the NRA that insisted on making the question so vague that you'd have to pretty much have snorted a line of coke on the form to actually be in violation.

You know, instead of "Have you ever taken drugs" (which would disqualify most of the population) they ask you if you have a drug problem. Most drug users don't think they have a problem, and they can quit at any time, man.
Sounds like they knew Hunter Biden was coming then...doesn't it!

Do you believe it could be proven he was on drugs when he signed the paper?

So, anyone that uses pot and is in possession of a gun is guilty of a felony? Is that what you are claiming?

Knowing Hunter, he'd likely admit to it under oath

The ATF and FBI both know the date the Form 4473 was filled out, and they could easily subpoena the gun shop for more information. The evidence of drug use on Hunter's laptop also has times and dates associated with them: The emails, videos, and other things. A first-year law student could throw together an iron-clad prosecution.

And yes, users of marijuana as well as other drugs are prohibited from even possessing a firearm. "Possessing" doesn't just mean "carrying" one. It also mean "owning" one, whether it's in his car, home, or a shed out back of the house.

"The federal government allows legal states to draft and implement their own marijuana laws. And federal laws are applied against people who own, nurture, or supply large amounts of marijuana.

As far as gun ownership by marijuana consumers is concerned it is the government that takes the lead and the legal states follow. No gun purchase or possession is allowed to marijuana consumers including medical marijuana cardholders."

There are two sides of the fence, use marijuana and give up gun ownership or give up marijuana and be a gun owner. - Alex Mooney

So, let me get this straight.

You are advocating for the arrest of every single gun owner that used pot?

Is that what you are pushing for?

Not "used", as in past tense. The law doesn't care if you did in the past, only if you are currently a user or addicted, like the question asks. And contrary to what they'll tell you, most pot heads are addicted. Just ask one to quit for a month and see what they tell you.

But if they used it while owning a gun they broke the law.

And your position is that they should all be prosecuted for a felony and lose their right to own a gun.

Wow, not a big fan of the 2nd are you.

The Second Amendment does apply to someone who commits a felony. neither does the right to vote, or the right to life in some cases. Do I have to explain to you that rights can be revoked?
