There's A Reason Why They Call It The Stupid Party

^^^^^ Perfect example why the Democrats lost the presidential election. ...
Actually, they lost the electoral college. Not the popular vote.

Still lost. You can go around all day trying to glorify the fact Trump didn’t win the popular vote but in the US the popular vote means nothing. If the candidates’ outcomes had been the other way around the left would champion the electoral college and yes I do believe some Trump supporters would bitch that America needs to get rid of EC. The system that puts their candidate on top is the one they want.

From what I watched the Strzok hearing showed how hysterical and unhinged the democrats are. It was amusing how they praise the FBI on one hand and attack ICE on the other.
I think when it all comes out, it's going to be surprising. Remember, in Nazi Germany, many Germans were deeply ashamed when the full truth came out about what they had done.

Will ICE agents be able to live with what they’re doing to migrant children? Will you?

I suspect a growing number of honorable ICE and border patrol and social workers other agents involved in carrying out such policies in California and the other border states are developing a fiercely bad conscience. I would bet that many of them find it increasingly hard to sleep at night and increasingly difficult to rationalize what they are doing. It’s likely that they go home and don’t – perhaps can’t – talk about what their jobs now entail. I suspect that many of these men and women feel deep shame at what their government, in our names, is asking them to do.

When the government embraces terror against particular groups, whether or not we work for that government we must all say “not in our name.” If we don’t, if we acquiesce or turn a blind eye, then as a culture, a democracy, we go silently into the dark, lethal night of totalitarianism.

-------------------------------------

To Republicans, that may look good right now because the GOP is 90% white. They are terrified the country is changing. Rather than embracing that change and guiding it, they are resisting it in such a way, they will leave behind what they once were a part of in tatters. We are seeing it every day.

ICE separated children from their parents before Trump came along. Were you disgusted by the practice then?

Soookil it’s ok to impose minority extremist views on the rest of the population because Russia helped Donald get 70,000 votes in 3 states?

:cuckoo:

You ijits don’t have anything like a mandate. You should be more careful about what you 30%’ers try to do to the rest of the world.

You could just as easily be speaking about the Dems...

Terrified the country is changing? Check

Resisting change rather than embracing it? Check

Will leave behind what they once were a part of in tatters? Well, I’ll be fair and say this remains to be seen, but it does appear the Democratic Party is collapsing. They’re going too far left... wanting to abolish a system of law enforcement that apprehends and deports illegal immigrant criminals is a radical idea and sensible Dems know this.

Neither you nor I actually know for certain if the Russians helped Trump will the election?

But if they did, all I can say is, "Thank you Comrade!! " .....

Shows exactly where the trumpanzees have been groomed to go and accept. They've been carefully trained to accept Russian interference with American elections.

This is the stupidest thing I've read all week, and it's Friday. There's a good chance you'll keep the title.

How many of these dirt-poor, uneducated and unskilled invaders are you harboring in your house at your expense this very day?

Hate to be too informative but we have used the electoral college to determine the winner in elections for hundreds of years. There have been others who lost because of the electoral college. So though New York and California wish it otherwise the law is still the law.

Only five US presidents in history have been elected despite losing the popular vote: John Quincy Adams in 1824, Rutherford Hayes in 1876, Benjamin Harrison in 1888, George W. Bush in 2000 and Donald Trump this November.Dec 12, 2016

The current one losing the popular vote by the largest margin.

Donald Trump has lost the popular vote by more than any president in US history

And yet, it’s Trump—NOT Hillary Clinton—who currently sits in the Oval Office. These five presidents you’re citing won fair and square and in line with how the system was designed to work. The founders put together the electoral college with the people in mind. They didn’t want the popular vote to count so they made a system that didn’t allow it to count. It worked in this election just as well as any other election. The POPULAR VOTE DOESN’T MATTER. What is so hard to understand about this?

Actually, I like to wait for things (like Mueller’s investigation, for example) to conclude before making claims I can’t back up. If the Russia collusion probe ends up showing genuine evidence Trump knowingly colluded with Russia to win the presidency, I’ll accept that. I’m skeptical there’s anything there and you’re obviously not. One day hopefully we’ll know the truth.

Actually, they lost the electoral college. Not the popular vote.

There are 3,141 counties in the United States.
Trump won 3,084 of them.
Clinton won 57.

There are 62 counties in New York State.
Trump won 46 of them.
Clinton won16.

Clinton won the popular vote by approx. 1.5 million votes.
In the 5 counties that encompass NYC,(Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Richmond & Queens).
Clinton received well over 2 million more votes than Trump. (Clinton only won 4 of these counties; Trump won Richmond)
Therefore these 5 counties alone, more than accounted for Clinton winning the popular vote of the entire country.

These 5 counties comprise 319 square miles.
The United States is comprised of 3,797,000 square miles.
When you have a country that encompasses almost 4 million square miles of territory, it would be ludicrous to even suggest that the vote of those who inhabit a mere 319 square miles should dictate the outcome of a national election.
Large, densely populated Democrat cities (NYC, Chicago, LA, etc.) DO NOT and SHOULD NOT speak for the rest of our country!
And...it's been verified and documented that those aforementioned 319 square miles are where the majority of our nation's problems foment.

This is why we should and do have the electoral college. This stops large and poorly run metropolitan areas from making the entire country adhere to their own failing policies and procedures.

First off, your dishonesty is on full display;https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/trump-won-3084-of-3141-counties-clinton-won-57/

Secondly, the author of the map said that this was not an accurate reflection of the electoral breakdown. In other words, going by your example, this is an inaccurate depiction of why we should have the electoral college.

There is only one example, and that is corruption by Trump and the Republican party. And we have proof; New Cambridge Analytica revelations connect Trump Russia dots

You should give all your information to FBI agent Strzok and have him look into it. .... :cuckoo: ...
I gave it to you first as a reference to show how you totally gave up fighting the facts presented. It caught you flat footed, while you resort to emoji's. They are entertaining I will admit. But they also prove how useless they are for this debate. Thanks for sharing your concession.
