Question for members: like him or hate him, is President Trump going to announce his bid for a second term today?

I hope he does. It’s a chess move.

He should announce. Those dweebs at CNN have missed him the last two years and coverup up Biden's screwups are getting tiresome.

Trump will wait for an election victory for the R's, across the board.

or

He will have enough confidence in the coming big win so that he will make the announcement early tomorrow.

If there was no big R win then the FBI/DOJ will move on Trump very quickly before Trump can summon up protection for himself as a candidate.

There's no possibility of it not being a big win for the R's.

Trump declaring tomorrow could be a huge innovative move to make!

Today? Doesn't matter much, at this point. It's a doomed candidacy.

As part of looking several moves ahead, the announcement will compel our corrupted DOJ to seek a “special” prosecutor when they get to the point of indicting or even seeking to indict President Trump.

And that move will tip their hands. They aren’t “investigating” Trump. They clearly are simply going after him. Their role, which is theoretically to “seek Justice,” will get relegated immediately to the trash can of their corruption of the institution.

And once they are compelled to put their cards (or some of them) on the table, it will become clear that, of course, they are simply going after Trump for partisan political reasons.

And then President Trump can freely go after them as needed. Another chess move.

Could be today. And that’s the question. Yes, it might not be today. It could be tomorrow or later. But is it likely he will announce today, Monday.

He can announce whenever it floats his boat but he lost A LOT of support at his "ADORE ME" rally when he bashed DeSantis. He won't win.
You're inventing false hope. DeSantis himself understands that the only way he can expect to be a candidate is if Trump doesn't make it to the nomination.

DeSantis has himself into taking a long ride of silence on his intentions unless Trump is eliminated early from the running.

No

They are going after Trump because he is incompetent, unqualified, and a danger to our Republic.

One failed, twice impeached go-round was quite enough with thus fool.

He is a criminal who needs to be held accountable for his crimes.

That is some special cult delusion. 'Wishful thinking' doesn't do it justice.

None of that is true; and none of it is their purview.

Again. The answer is found in the polling booths, not in baseless prosecutions. Obviously, like many other of your fellow libtards, the partisan political misuse of the DOJ is fine with you.

Another ^ absolutely asshole comment.
He hasn’t even been charged with a crime, you fucking asshole. And even if he is later to be charged, welcome to America. He is still presumed to be innocent. 😎

Trump has spent 3.8 million dollars on legal fees. If he announces his candidacy the RNC can't pay any more of his legal fees.
