Fox News contributor Wendy Osefo marked the 50th anniversary of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination on Wednesday by posting a hateful threat she received from an angry Fox viewer.

“When you are one of the few black Democrats that appear on Fox News and use your voice and platform to speak out against racial and economic injustice, this is what you receive,” she wrote of the threat on her Instagram account. “As we commemorate the legacy of MLK, we must remember that the fight for equity and equality continues. We must not fool ourselves to believe we live in a ‘post racial society’ or that the playing field is level because we elected a black president.”

Are you suggesting that the viewer's threat is somehow the fault of Fox News? Perhaps you are suggesting that all Fox News viewers are racists?
