We all found that out during the 2020 election. Lots more Democrats vote by mail then Republicans. Most states do not count mail and votes until after the elections close. The states that do count them before the election is over do not reveal who's ahead because they don't want to throw off the election results. That's why we have to wait so long more people than ever vote by mail. I'm not sure which state but I heard on the news 90% of the people voted by mail in one state.
