Trump calls for violence against protesters

So is Trump responsible for the riot or not? Are you saying his speech isn't protected?

It appears you are talking out of both sides of your mouth. Not unusual for you.
There was no riot, and no one incited one, and Trump's speech is protected (if he doesn't pussy out and actually speaks) up to a point. Not all speech is protected. That point was made an hour ago, you just don't get it.

Then what are you complaining about? You just admitted Trump didn't incite the riot, and Trump has a right to say everything he has said.

Do you always argue incessantly about stuff you agree with?
Dumbass, you asked how we would know when Trump crossed the line, and I told you the Free Speech exceptions. Wake up my little infant.

Then he has never crossed the line. So what are you babbling about?
I'm not babbling, my little infant. We are dealing with the theoretical, not something you'd understand so go play with your piss porn...

So you admit you aren't talking about anything Trump has actually done?

You're babbling.

You give it a rest. You don't know your ass from a hole in the ground. On top of which, you're a Nazi douche bag.
You're wrong on all points here, promoting violence, what is or isn't public, and what is or isn't protected speech.

Go away my little infant. That disgusting porn you like is calling.

I'm exactly spot on. No matter how many ways you try to blame Trump for the riot, the bottom line is that the people who committed the violence are responsible. Only dumbass douche bags like you believe otherwise.
There was no riot, and you are, mostly, responsible for yourself.

Can you be responsible for inciting a fight or a riot? Fuck ya so, don't...

There were plenty of Bernie supporters taking swings at Trump supporters and tearing up their signs. A couple of cops had to be treated for injuries. I call that a riot by a gang of thugs.

So far all you've done is admit that Trump hasn't incited violence or a riot.

So what the fuck are you complaining about?
That big a group and that little damage, human or otherwise, nothing like a riot.

It was a riot.

Would you surmise that MoveOn.org is the impetus behind the violence in Chicago? George Soros, who funds them, has taken credit for shutting down the Trump rally, and it appears that Bill Ayres is the godfather of MoveOn.org.
Trump is the impetus. I cant see anybody else provoking protest on such a scale.

Once again you discredit the intelligence of the American people.
The organized protesters' (mostly from MoveOn.org) vitriolic hate speech against Trump and their intent to interrupt his rally caused chaos. Are you a fan of Bill Ayres and George Soros?
I have no idea who they are. Why isnt Cruz attracting similar demos ? He is at least as evil as Trump. The answer is that Trump is the only one spewing hate and advocating violence. He could show some dignity but I dont think you can buy that.

Do yourself a favor and Google Bill Ayres.
Cruz will not attempt to give a speech at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Why do you think the students shut down Ben Shapiro?
Admittedly, I haven't heard Trump spewing hatred. Perhaps you can give us an example.
Tommy agreed with them shutting down Ben Shapiro. He said the uni has a 'duty of care' to 'protect' the students from him.
Shapiro is an extreme lunatic hate monger. He has been exposed as a liar and should not be given a platform. It doesnt actually prevent him from getting his polluted views across though.

Nope, and go away, my little infant. You asked a question, and I answered it. It's just taken you 25 posts to get the fucking answer.

It was a much a riot as a St. Patrick's Day pub crawl. In a crowd that large with hot tempers, minor damaged is to be expected.

The TEA party had 500,000 people on the Washington mall without a single punch being thrown. They even cleaned up after themselves.

That was a riot.

in retrospect trump only encouraged violence 10% of the time, silly!

Um ... you don't know what the "begging the question" fallacy is and you used it wrong, and you insult ... my ... command of the English language? There is no depth of stupid you won't rush to fill, is there?
Depth? I have yet to see one Trump follower who could articulate with any clarity why they believe Trump will do anything he says he will do. It apparently doesn't take much to persuade people who were already predisposed to follow a demagogue.

Trump sucks, his supporters are supporting a crappy candidate with crappy solutions that if you read the site you know I don't support.

That doesn't justify the left going violent to counter that or their mindless minions, you know, you, supporting that. Peaceful protests are the way to go, Benito

Eh, I've had enough of sweet lying politicians that are sold out to the donor class and Trump could very well kick some Washington dead butt, do nothing ass. Every other candidate is bought and paid for, well accept for Bernie but he's a nut case.

I don't think Cruz is owned, the establishment hates him for a reason. But while I connect with the sick of business as usual with Trump, I don't agree with his positions, particularly his opposition to free market capitalism

For me Cruz is just too far right, too stick up his ass and when the dust has settled Trump represents more Americans.. center right with jobs, jobs, jobs, on his mind.

Oops .. you may not like this but I think it's funny...

This is good to now to use against liberals who are in favor of protesting Trump

It's Literally Illegal to Protest at a Donald Trump Rally

Quote:
"current federal law (H.R. 347) does not allow for protesting of any type in an area under protection by the Secret Service."

"When the federal law on trespass was quietly amended—it is a crime, punishable by up to a year in prison, to "knowingly impede or disrupt the orderly conduct of Government business or official functions" in locations guarded by the Secret Service, including places where individuals under Secret Service protection are temporarily located—the revised statute made it "easier for the government to criminalize protest."

As long as leftists who aren't candidates are calling the shots for violent confrontation, that's OK, but when a candidate says to fight back, that's not.

You are a true bitch of the left. Just a complete mindless automaton. I start threads against Trump because I oppose him. Peaceful protests are a great way to express your views. You people go Brown Shirt saying ... Trump ... is the fascist
Trump's words and actions are very reminiscent of Mussolini. He really knows how to appeal to the lowest common denominators.

You can look much closer to home for Trumps tactics. He got them from George Wallace.
Wallace and Trump represent the very same point of view.

Bullshit and playing the race card .. this is where the head up your ass is clearly obvious...

What Donald Trump Owes George Wallace

On paper his speeches were stunningly disconnected, at times incoherent. But videotapes of those 1968 rallies captured a performance. A wild energy seemed to flow back and forth between Mr. Wallace and his audience as he called out their mutual enemies: bearded hippies, pornographers, sophisticated intellectuals who mocked God, traitorous anti-Vietnam War protesters, welfare bums, cowardly politicians and “pointy-head college professors who can’t even park a bicycle straight.”

For the television networks the spectacle became irresistible, particularly since rallies often erupted into violent chair-throwing confrontations between Mr. Wallace’s supporters and angry demonstrators. Hunter S. Thompson understood that George Wallace’s followers were not interested in position papers on banking regulations or the pros and cons of thermal energy. Watching the Alabama governor perform was awe-inspiring to the gonzo journalist, who likened the rallies to a Janis Joplin concert “in which the bastard had somehow levitated himself and was hovering over us.”[...]

At the same time, the rejection of the euphemisms of polite political rhetoric is part of the great appeal of such figures. As one of Mr. Trump’s supporters at a Dallas rally told a Slate reporter: “I love that he’s talking in everybody else’s language. He’s not trying to be politically correct.”

THAT response is simply an update from one of Mr. Wallace’s 1968 followers: “George doesn’t give us some mealy-mouth ‘on the one hand and on the other’ spiel. He tells it like it is and if it offends some government bureaucrats and loudmouth civil rights agitators, so what? He’s standing up and fighting for real Americans.”

Trump supports responding to assault. You support assault

There's a simple solution if you don't want to get tossed out on your ear from a Trump rally: behave yourself. Don't go there to protest and disrupt the event.

It works 100% of the time.

"see nobody gets hurt, see?" trump is a delusional liar

the black guy who got cold-cocked in the face was leaving the stadium non violently.

he got blind sided, punched in the face just for flipping the bird as he was walking out.

None of this is 'protest', it's crashing the rally and rioting prior to it. Try this anywhere else in the world and see what happens to you. These liberals are come provoke Trump supporters, physically attack them, and when Trump supporters act in self defense, the media antagonizes them. These are calculated moves to terrorize people from voting for Trump. They can't scare us though, this a revolution of the silent majority.

Donald Trump continues to alienate everyone but rich white men in a press conference held today while speaking about the protests from groups holding up signs that say, “Black Lives Matter” in South Carolina where racially-motivated violence continues after several black churches have been burned to the ground after Dylan Roof shot up another church.

Many of the activists have since urged the state to remove its confederate flags from all state buildings.
When asked what he would do about the protests and the issue of racially-motivated violence, Trump simply stated:

“there’s no such thing as racism anymore. We’ve had a black president so it’s not a question anymore. Are they saying black lives should matter more than white lives or Asian lives? If black lives matter, then go back to Africa? We’ll see how much they matter there.”

It's quite mild by European standards.

Trump fans are just wimps. Boohoo, someone yelled at my candidate! Free speech went both ways! That makes me a victim!

Interesting that Trump cites his 1st Amendment right to speak and the left interprets that as "calling for violence". The world is upside down in the liberal mind.

For average Americans/Europeans, people being attacked for supporting a candidate is a big deal. For me, no, I've seen a lot worse. America isn't the Middle East at this moment, however. Anyway, anti-Trump folks are the wimps complaining and crying in the media.

Which President told Progs to bring a gun to a knife fight?

Trump followers have every right to exercise the 1st Amendment and to engage in self defense.
