Trump classified documents case dismissed. Jack Smith loses again.

Based on what I am reading it is based on a Clarence Thomas dissent in the immunity case. It will be overturned if appealed. My guess is Cannon is eying a Trump win and a promotion to the Federal Court of Appeals or US Supreme Court. It is win for Trump for the time being.

Suck on it.

Hit was not appointed by the President. He was appointed by the AG

Damn you just keep showing people how stupid you are
what the F are you talking about Hur was appointed by Trump, and confirmed by the Senate on April 9. 2018. That is what gave him authority to prosecute and investigate cases....Smith never had that authority.

SUBCHAPTER II—OFFICE OF SPECIAL COUNSEL

§1211. Establishment

(a) There is established the Office of Special Counsel, which shall be headed by the Special Counsel. The Office shall have an official seal which shall be judicially noticed. The Office shall have its principal office in the District of Columbia and shall have field offices in other appropriate locations.

(b) The Special Counsel shall be appointed by the President, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, for a term of 5 years. The Special Counsel may continue to serve beyond the expiration of the term until a successor is appointed and has qualified, except that the Special Counsel may not continue to serve for more than one year after the date on which the term of the Special Counsel would otherwise expire under this subsection. The Special Counsel shall be an attorney who, by demonstrated ability, background, training, or experience, is especially qualified to carry out the functions of the position.

LOLOLOL

PussyBitch, you're a fucking imbecile. We're talking about a private attorney hired as an individual Special Counsel, not the federal U.S. Office of Special Counsel

He was appointed as special Counsel by GARLAND

hahaha no, where in the world are you getting that idea?

The law, moron...

§ 600.3 Qualifications of the Special Counsel.

(b) The Attorney General shall consult with the Assistant Attorney General for Administration to ensure an appropriate method of appointment, and to ensure that a Special Counsel undergoes an appropriate background investigation and a detailed review of ethics and conflicts of interest issues. A Special Counsel shall be appointed as a “confidential employee” as defined in 5 U.S.C. 7511(b)(2)(C).

I'm parroting the law. Who knows where your info comes from, thinking anything I posted meant Don Jr. could serve as a Special Counsel.
No, you intentionally omit sections because you are a dishonest hack.

Cool, and Garland can do that and he has all the powers of a US Attorney, since he way already confirmed by the Senate...unlike Jack.

That's the issue you debots....geez, read the Order for goodness sake, it's been provided
So if someone is EVER confirmed by the Senate to any position that qualifies them as Special Counsel.

It don’t work that way

Geez dembot, that's how they are paid, not if they are a principal or inferior employee for Constitutional purposes.

nope, not if they resign. Hur never resigned until after he finished his job as a Special Prosecutor.

This isn't hard stuff man, but you are really really trying to miss it

Not that I don't enjoy watching you post like an ignorant twatwaffle, but you might want to check the authority Comrade Garland cited when he appointed Comrade Smith.
