During the Obama administration as in all democrat administrations the mainstream media acts as the propaganda arm. Benghazi was Obama's problem but with the cooperation of the media he managed to dodge responsibility and so did Hillary. That is one example. There was a recent one as well. The issues with the military budget is all about red tape and contracts to companies that are friends and give political donations.
