Sounds like you and Mud on the one hand and I on the other, disagree. When the president said "I had nothing to do with Russia" you guys take it to mean "I had no personal contact with Russians." Or "I never built a building in Russia". To me those are Clintonesque word games. "I had nothing to do with Russia" to me means that he and his organization had not even any conversations. Nothing. And I believe that's exactly the impression he wanted to impart. That's why to me it's a lie. If Hillary had said this I suspect we'd be agreeing now.sorry, but how is it if his lawyer was doing something for the business, Trump was involved? was trump in contact with them or his lawyer? now think quick here.He "had nothing to do with Russia" yet his lawyer met with them about a project and reported back to him three times and his son and son in law met with them. If the plain meaning of "had nothing to do with Russia" means for you that anything less than building a hotel makes it true then we disagree. And I sure would've wanted my father when I was a teenager to draw the distinctions you are making if so. "Yeah you were at a party with a keg but you didn't buy the keg or drink the beer so no problem. "cause he built a hotel in Moscow? really?Yes. Obama was in no way a good man. I was against much of what he did. How exactly though does that make it so that I should be okay with my President--- who I supported --- lying to me? Repeatedly.
The fact that we disagree doesn't require invective or name calling. It just means we disagree.
